      Been waiting 36 days for glasses would not recommend to anyone

      Dr. Tavel *********** *******. Assistance with vision insurance benefits was given and I received the maximum use of my benefits. Staff member was knowledgeable concerning options for lens and was very helpful. Frame selection is more than adequate. Displayed nicely on walls allowing easy selection and trying on. All frames are priced and there are numerous mirrors available. Where this company needs vast improvement is in following through to the end. When I picked up the completed glasses, the frame legs were adjusted and that was it. The glasses weren't checked against me wearing them and charts to ensure they were effective and that my vision had been corrected according to my prescription. I paid extra for the deluxe progressive lens because I do a lot of computer work. Although I have no problems with the far sighted vision, the near sighted vision is extremely lacking. No matter what angle I view the screen from, no matter the angle I set the screen to and no matter where I position my laptop - the text remains blurred. This would have been evident had the glasses been checked at pick up. This most crucial step is needed and should not have been over-looked in the haste to complete the transaction. The end product was not a five star product rendering all else up to that point far from being a five star rating. It is not enough to provide good services if the end product is unusable. More emphasis on that last crucial step is needed. I cannot recommend this company to other consumers.
