first off family tire pros went out of business and was taken over by BIG * Tires.Research on the internet offers N* information on the closure or what to do about parts and maintenance work done on vehicles...on 5/14/2014 I had to have my rack and pinion, I paid $276.00 for the part, plus the $490 spent on labor, replaced which is a warrantied part by Auto stores, but I don't know which store they purchased it from to see if they will honor the warranty..... Family Tire Pro's has left us hanging by not letting us consumers know they were closing or what to do about the warrantied parts and Big * Tires says its out of their hand they don't know where family got their parts but they acquired the phone number formerly used by Family Tire pros- claiming that they acquired to offer assistances to the former family tire clients.... I feel by taking on another business' number to gain other business, there is a responsibility to honor such warranties. So I'm not sure know if my complaint is with Family tire or BIG * tire now...I feel that family tire needs to be removed from being found as a business on the internet and some sort of internet searchable notation should be made explaining to consumers of what we are supposed to do about warrantied items.
