  We started renting from the **************** run properties back in February of 2020. Weve always paid our rent on time and never been late. The first couple of years they raised our rent but not anything over what would be expected. Typically 50-75.00 a month. The company has went through several changes with management and they do not resolve maintenance issues very well at all. Weve fixed things on our own because they do not have staff to accommodate. The condo we rent is in the Clear Creek addition in ************. It is not an updated apartment at all but weve never really complained. We pay our rent and mind our business. Last year the company raised our rent unexpectedly by ****** a month. My husbands on disability so he spoke with the owner and explained. The owner seemed very nice and assured us that they would not raise the rent this year. Here we are again, received our new lease and they raised it another ****** a month this year. Its very disappointing and frustrating because they flat out lied to us. I understand the market is crazy but when Im the only source of income I do not get the cost of living raises to accommodate. The amount they have raised it is absolutely ridiculous. Its nothing more than greed. Its ridiculous that these companies are allowed to do this to people. A hike in rent is expected but over 200 a month at a time is ridiculous. I would not recommend people rent from them because theyve lied to us and theyll lie to you. They simply want to get us out so they can get well over what they need. Greedy people. Beware.

  The only time they fix anything is if a HUD inspection might notice. It took 1.5 yrs to get my disposal repaired so I could use my kitchen sink. I still after almost 2 yrs have no fan in the restroom and no screen door on my porch causing me to run ac/heat all year long. My upstairs neighbor is permitted to harass me by pecking on my bathroom wall every time I'm in there and using homosexual **** threats. The owner covers up for the narcissistic tenants and lies for them. I recorded all the evidence I needed and the owner refused to look, saying he doesn't care if my neighbor harasses me, which I also recorded. I wrote to every lawyer that services this area and they won't help because it's not lucrative enough. HUD will only help if it involves discrimination and the entire system here behaves as though it's been paid off. Every inch of this building reeks of cigarettes, mold, corpse smell, and excrement. The money you save here is not worth it. It's so bad, in 1.5 yrs we've had 4 different managers and all the maintenance staff quit. The owner even treats his staff like trash.
