Was customer for business for 10 years. Business claimed "personal reasons" when they cancelled our service. I am a disabled combat veteran that uses propane to live. When asked what personal means, I was told it means we have dangerous dogs. We own no dangerous dogs. Our neighbors do own dogs that are outside dogs, but are friendly. The cited this as a problem and would discontiue service refusing service. They suggested we keep the tank and use all the fuel before they come pick it up and charge us to remove the tank once complete. The issue is we cannot get a new tank until this is moved and the old one is half full of propane we already purchased. When I asked for a full refund and not to pay and cancellations since they are cancelling, they first claimed they could not. They later recanted and said they could only pay us the rate of today's cost, not the cost when I bought it, they also claimed they could not give me the full rate of that for cancellation costs and pumping costs. I explained to them this was not my fault, and the whole issue stemmed from neighbor dogs. I told them I was a disabled combat vet and got laughed at. The manager claimed he would sue me and make me pay for his lawyer. I want 100% of my money back I put into the tank and want the tank removed with zero fees. I have attached the current percentage of fuel and where we paid to top off the tank last year. They need to pay me the rate I paid and charge nothing to get a tank where they are cancelling me as a customer. I also believe it's a civil rights violation to do this to a disabled combat veteran. I do not have my receipt where it shows what I paid per a gallon nor how many gallons were pumped last year. I need an apology letter, full refund and no cancellation costs. They had deceptive business practices.
