On 4/01/25 we went to Aspen dental to get a denture repaired. The dentist informed us that $7500.00 worth of work would be needed before he fixed the denture.
We canceled all appointments, but are still being billed for $2598.00.
We want the billing reminded, and no further contact from them.

We were told to pay 1600.00 for oral surgery that never took place. I was told I would be refunded as the work was canceled several days before the procedure. They are also refusing to provide xrays or an itemized receipt. They claim there was a cleaning done that cost that amount it this is untrue as the insurance company told me the charge was listed as being for a surgery.

After seeing a dentist at Aspen, I was taken to see a man named *****. ***** preceded with a sales pitch for implant preparation. He showed me pictures but gave me no written material. At one point he asked for my signature and I signed what I thought was a HIPAA form on a signature computer thing. I had a fever due to several abscessed teeth, and hadn’t had much sleep in the previous week. I asked for a copy of what I’d signed & ***** said he couldn’t print a copy. I was not comfortable about that but in too much pain to deal with it. I later received a text saying I owed over $3000. to some credit company for Aspen. When I asked ***** if he had opened a credit card he unabashedly admitted he had. Is that legal? I am 70 years old and have worn dentures & a partial for five years. All I wanted was my remaining five teeth pulled and new dentures. I had $4000.00 worth insurance coverage which would pay for this. However, I was charged for five bone grafts for implant preparation which I didn’t want, need ask for nor do I believe were even done. After I received my dentures I went in for an adjustment and ***** said I could be seen in an unacceptable time (3 weeks later). I had called Aetna to appeal and report the work charged for being incorrect. I was told by ***** that my discharge papers would be in the mail. I had questioned him about the billing and he said, “I’ve already explained this three times, I spent an hour with you, then Aetna twice.” I had talked to this guy for maybe 30 minutes at the most and I was not aware of most of what he said. I have an appointment with a different dentist so I can hopefully finally wear my bottom teeth. I haven’t been able to wear them since the day I walked out with them. Aspen has used up my annual insurance and I’ll have to pay out of pocket for new dentist. I made one $150.00 payment to credit company and received a notice saying I had charged over amount & late charges. $350 due
