      They came to spray the tree and sprayed my car with all kinds of is chemicals and when I called to see what they would do about it they acted like it wasn't important I would get a call back which made me mad and I called again same result but then they came to talk after I went to talk to someone there but no one would even answer the door then wants to cancel the service because I got upset they messed up my car not a good company to not use them the people do not know how to use good customer service skills at all

      When I started with Ryan Lawn & Tree, I was very satisfied with their service, ever at a premium price. These last two or three years have been very disappointing. Their service is now sub-par at best.

      Problems with irrigation led me to replace Rainbird with Hydra-wise, at their recommendation, but the replacement Android App is much less user-friendly and the system is using much more water is spite of a wetter than normal summer. Ryan spent weeks delivering a system, with little communication, which now has a leak (in less than 5 weeks), is making a mess of my yard, and delivering water bills in the $100's per month.

      They are almost impossible to reach to answer service calls, do not respond to Web site requests, and appear to be severely short staffed. Some may be trying to serve, but all in all, Ryan appears to be unable to respond with timely service.

      I cannot recommend Ryan Lawn & Tree of Merriam, KS for further Lawn or landscaping work.

      Why is this company still in business? Their customer service is crap. They do not honor their promises and they are overpriced. Please...for your sanity, go somewhere else.

      Do your homework and look at reviews before you use this company.
      I've had "Ryan Lawn", with a billing address of 5425 Antioch Drive, Merriam Ks
      service my house for everything, from the sprinkler system, trees, shrubs, beds, flowers, mulch, yard fertilization and Christmas lights for a couple years now. A bit overpriced, but I agreed to the amounts and paid like clockwork.
      Their technicians would call or text the night before which wasn't always convenient.

      The yard fertilization guy was a problem.

      He would bill me for services not rendered. I called the office and spoke with a couple people in the billing department a couple of times and was told over the phone it was resolved. The company's problem is they don't know what services are actually being performed, just what shows invoiced on their computer by the employee. Giving the commissioned service person a chance to rip you off.

      I spent close to $5000 a year with Ryan Lawn, only to discover they turned me into a collection agency for the $134.50 overcharge.
      Be very careful doing business with these folks.

      If I could give them negative stars I would, maybe even a black hole or two. We hired them to fertilize our lawn, install a new sprinkler zone in the back, install an irrigation system around our Japanese maple & fix zone 6. ********** 6 was to be fixed, they were gonna reseed our lawn in the spring. They told us they had expert people & not to worry about anything. Well, they did fertilize the lawn. They did install a new sprinkler system in the back, but they piggy backed it to zone 4, thats not what I wanted, cuz zone 4 needs more water then the strip by the sidewalk behind our back yard. Now the sidewalk floods & is filled with mud every time zone 4 is watered. They also put an irrigation system around our Japanese Maple & left all the pipes (about 10 feet worth) leading to the tree exposed, instead of putting in in the ground like its supposed to be. We paid them on time for all their services except when they charged us for fixing zone 6. They came out 3 times to fix it but their expert couldnt even find it. We told them over the phone that we would pay them for the zone 6 work when they found it & fixed it. The big reason for this to be done was that they would not guarantee the reseeding of the lawn in the spring unless all the zones were working. They never found zone 6, they never fixed ********* stopped servicing our lawn which is fine. They then turned us into the collection agency. So we paid. After we paid they supposedly sent out people to treat our lawn for grub control & summer application. We didnt give them permission to do any work on our lawn after they sent us to the collection agency. They never left a flag in our yard or a hanger on our screen door to tell indcate to us that they were their. They are liars & cheats. I called *********** told me that it is their policy to resume service after we paid the collection fees! Who would want to rehire a company that cant do their work & then send us to the collection agency!!??

      I started using **** last year. At the beginning when my business was new, they were available to expeditiously address all my questions and concerns. This year I wanted to discuss adding backyard and decrease treatments (go to maintenance) for front yard, so I specifically requested, several times,a call to discuss before any 2023 services were rendered. In response I received a text stating "can do". Next **** action was to apply the first 2023 treatment (performed by "can do" person). After this I decided to cancel my business with **** (via phone,20 minute holdtime). My yard did look better than last year, but if you've grown so large you now blatantly ignore customer communication you're not the company for me.
