    Hired Sam the Concrete Man Kansas City to pour a driveway extension. Provided the company with a print out of exact dimensions of what I wanted poured. The extension was to begin at the house and end just before the sidewalk. What I received was a far cry from what was requested and agreed to in the contract. I received a parking pad that I have to drive through my yard to access! I’ve had 4 concrete contractors out to rectify the mess I was left with, their feedback is as follows: #1 “What an idiot”, #2 “It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that was never going to work for you”, #3 “I’m kind of speechless”, #4 said “I don’t want any part of fixing this mess” got in his truck and drove off. All 4 contractors unanimously agreed that on a twelve foot wide pad a seam should have been installed down the middle which I did not receive. I’m told that is not if it will crack, it’s when. When surfacing all these concerns to the company, I was essentially told “shut up and pay us”. Incredibly unprofessional; it makes me truly question the other reviews as these were a deciding factor for me hiring this company.

    There are many concrete contractors in KC, you can do much better. Learn from my mistakes and avoid Sam the Concrete Man Kansas City.
