    I hired this company to hook up an electric dryer to the interior vent. Upon arrival, the individual was not an employee of Mint Ducts but appeared to be an independent contractor though he had no identifying information. He did not arrive with any tools or equipment. He stated he was there to clean my vents (though did not have tools) and when I informed him that was not accurate, he contacted someone who then called me to clarify (even though the email confirming service clearly stated what was being scheduled) I only needed a dryer hookup. He then had me use all of my tools and materials to haphazardly hook up the dryer to the vent and said it should be fine. He had no materials of his own or tools. I was then charged an amount and forced to accept the estimate even though that was not what was stated. He was only there for 10 minutes, used all of my supplies and overcharged me. When I reached out immediately to the company, they were going to open a ticket with a supervisor and no one ever contacted me back. Now, my dryer isn't drying as it was previously.

    On 4/1/2024, I called Mint Ducts Cleaning to come out and work on the dryer ducts in a small business I manage. We had never used the company before but they had 4.9 stars on ****** and were ****** sponsored and guaranteed. A gentleman came out on 4/2/2024 and told us that we needed all of our duct work replaced. He sent us a quote and we agreed to have him come out and do the work on 4/8/2024. He came out that day and replaced the duct work and we paid $1503. Throughout the week, we started noticing that our dryer wasn't working as well as it was before. On 4/11/2024, I noticed large wet spots in our ceiling under the new ducts. That day, I called the company and asked for someone to come out and look at the work that was done. The technician that did the original work called me back and told me that there was already water leaking and my dryer probably just doesn't work. He seemed very angry but said he would come back out on 4/15/2024. After I got off the phone with him, I called the office back and told them that he seemed angry with us and I wasn't comfortable with him coming back to my business. They told me they understood and would have someone else call me. I didn't get a call back. The next day, 4/12/2024, I called the office again and told them I was afraid of this man coming back to my business and wanted someone else to help me. I never received a call back. That afternoon, I did more research into the company and found several reviews stating that this business is a "scam" or a "bait and switch." Most of their hundreds of positive reviews were also written in the past several days. At that point, I figured there would be no resolution and we got scammed. We then spent more money to get it fixed. This afternoon, 4/15/2024, I got a call from the original technician that he was on the way to our store to look at the duct work. I told him that we weren't comfortable with him being there. I called the office again asking for a call but have heard nothing.
