      I went into Jackson Hewitt on 1/21/25 to file my taxes. ******, my tax preparer, got right started. She took my 2 W2s and asked me one single question the entire time. She asked me if I took care of a dependent, I said yes my son.
      Fast forward, to February 18th, 2025. I hadn’t gotten my taxes and path ended. I noticed I was being charged over 600 dollars for fees from Jackson Hewitt. These fees were not discussed with me and I was mislead by their huge posters all around there store and in their windows. Everything had led me to believe that I was being charged 49 dollars to get my taxes done. So I called them, they said that the district manager would immediately get back to me because ****** should have discussed the fees with me to make sure I was okay with paying 600 dollars for SIMPLE taxes! I would have walked out and saved myself 600 dollars because now they won’t even answer my calls and I have still not heard a word from any said district manager.
