To be completely honest, I am just plain confused. This customer did reach out to us with complaints about her move. She called my cell phone, yelled at me for 10 minutes without letting me get a word in, and then hung up on me before I could make any response whatsoever. She has also called and texted our office line several times to the point that it is being considered harassment at this point. We blocked her number. I was personally on this move and walked through the house at the end of it to make sure all items were where she wanted them and that no damage had occurred. She stated that everythingwas great, at which point we signed the contract finalizing the job. She paid with a check which has since cleared. She certainly seemed pleased when we left, even asking for business cards so that she could refer us to friends and family. My company did absolutely nothing wrong on this move, it appears that she is attempting to blackmail us into returning her money for services already completed. I absolutely deny any claims that she has made, and if she would like to call me and have a civilized conversation I will tell her that personally. Thank you.

Date of Transaction 6/23/22 Total cost $5750.00 including $350 for Full Insurance protection. I used the company to move me from Richmond, KY to a climate-controlled storage facility in Greensboro, NC. The owner was very friendly, and I did not have a problem until I discovered several pieces of my furniture were damaged. Pictures were submitted and a claim was filed. I did not think there would be a problem because I purchased extra insurance. My claim was denied. When my furniture was packed, it was wrapped for protection; however, when we were removing the items from storage, the wrapping had been removed with no added protection. Even a glass pane for my China Cabinet was not wrapped found it stuffed between two pictures and was broken. Also, due to guidelines of having met their maximum number of hours one can drive by the KY Department of Transportation, I was informed by the owner that they rented a truck to move my items from the Richmond to the other truck location in Danville to unload and reload before delivering it to Greensboro, NC. Also, the rented truck was not large enough and he returned the next morning to finish loading. They are trying to blame the damages on the other company that moved the items to the house. WHICH IS NOT TRUE. The other moving company along with my son can verify the items were damaged when they opened the storage unit. Because I was still in Kentucky, I had my grandson meet the moving crew at *** **** Storage facility in order that they could unload the items. He was not informed to inspect the items and signed that the items were delivered. Because the owner seemed very nice and hardworking, I am totally disappointed with his honesty. I purchased full Value Insurance protection because accidents happen. A Certified Letter was mailed on September 12th, 2022, have text and call with no response trying to get this issue resolved. See attached pictures, letters and contract.

******* **** is the Owner of Cain Moving Services, LLC.  He has been in the Household goods moving industry for 20 years and has worked for major *** ***** such as ****** and **** *** *****. **** ********* was the Claims Manager for ****** *** ***** in Lexington, Ky.  On 6/23/22, ****** ****** was loaded by Cain Moving Services, LLC.  All furniture was padded and protected during transit.  During the move Ms. ****** advised Mr. ****, who was also the lead on the job, that her grandson would be accepting delivery.  At delivery on 6/25/22, Ms. ******'s grandson was present to receive shipment at *** **** Storage in Greensboro, NC.  All moving pads were removed from the furniture allowing the customer's grandson to inspect the furniture.  On 6/25/22, Ms. ******'s grandson signed off on the Bill of Lading that all household goods were received in good condition.

On 8/16/22, Cain Moving Services, LLC was notified by Ms. ****** that there were damages to her items.  **** *********, Office Manager at Cain Moving Services, LLC immediately sent her a claim form.  Once all documents were received, and through her(Ms. ******s) own admittance, it was clear the household goods were moved from storage.  Cain Moving Services, LLC is entitled to inspect and verify claimed damaged before any goods are moved again.  Without performing an inspection, we are unable to differentiate between damages that may have occurred while the goods were in possession of Cain Moving Services, LLC or during the subsequent move or moves.

Based on those two reasons, **** ********* respectfully denied her claim.  Ms. ****** was unsatisfied with our response.  So we then sent her the required information to contact Arbitration, which is the next legal step, as stated on our Bill of Lading.  As of today, she has yet to do so.

      Thank you for your time,
