      Garbage. Asked them to intervene with a provider because the woman that handles all Humana referrals in the primary doctor's is constantly messing up and or not doing the referral. My Dr appointment with primary Dr was 12/12/23. PT advised me on, 12/19 and 12/20 PT office has yet to receive referral. 12/21 back to primary Dr to question where referral was, told she has nothing for me. Told her to check with DR, she responded she would look into it. Well, after over 3 weeks, finally 1/3/2024 after getting a manager to intervene, my referral was processed. My complaint to Humana was responded in a letter that their "specialist" spoke to a Jane in the Doctor's office(no such person exists!) and that she said the delay was was due to ,that it was New Year's and a change in my coverage. Case closed, signed case specialist. Upon calling Humana, questioned what Janes title was, the fact there were no change in my insurance and what was the name of the specialist to bring these point to light, Nothing but a phoney sympathetic ear was given by the supervisor. No I will look into it, that would require effort! Will definitely be looking for options at open enrollment Nov 2024.

      Horrible customer service. No one seems to get anything right. I called to ask about one dental plan and cancel another. They said I had no dental plan, they then said I had no medical coverage, they then told me I had to cancel my coverage in order to cancel my dental plan. All of this took more than 3 hours on the phone, transferred from one agent/department to another, and no one could get anything right. Grievance filed, then a month later, they wrote to tell me that all I had been told was wrong! THEN, I filled a prescription and was told the copay was over $1300 per month (Under United Healthcare last year, my copay for this life sustaining drug cost me about $300 per month copay). When I called Humana they told me I could get a lower co-pay by filing for a tier adjustment (not true), that I could get a lower copay through their pharmacy (not true), that I could get a discount through Social Security (not true), that I could get an adjustment by contacting their advocacy department (not true). Each call to different agents in different departments ended with them telling me I needed to call someone else to try to solve the problem they created! They then tried to tell my doctor he should find something else to prescribe for me (they implied they knew more about my health than my doctor, but in reality, it's all about $$$ They pay their CEO over $16 million per year). All of this over a three day period, four hours on the phone, rude people telling me it is their policy to do this to people. To keep paying Humana, I would live out my life in financial ruin. To stop paying would ensure a long, slow death within about 6 months. Grievance do no good, THEY REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, JUST THE $$$ THEY NEED FOR THEIR CEO!

      Humana is horrible! I will not be using them next year but I am stuck with them for the rest of 2024. Every single time I go to the doctor or dentist they deny the claim or tell me it's not covered for one reason or another. I hardly ever go to my primary doctor. last year I only went twice and each time they did not cover my doctor's appointment. Humans will only cover what is covered by Medicare in the 1st place. The yearly physical exam and medicare screening. If you go to the doctor for anything else it's not covered. Plus their customer service is overseas and it is impossible to understand them or try to communicate with them. If I could give Humana a minus star that is what I would do. They are getting rich from getting government money for their rotten advantage coverage. Do not sign up with them.

      6 months fighting a denture claim..
      Submitted 3 times. Missing info, complete runaround. Lied to me 4 times, so far. Given wrong phone numbers. To many problems to list.

      Humana is the absolute worst medical and healthcare provider .....Their dental plan makes No sense covering some dental procedures and denying others , some very basic ..I called 6x and cannot get a straight answer .......Stay away from Humana , I was with C******* and now apparently Humana has absorbed careplus and the plan and service is horrible ......I cannot wait fro open enrollment to change out of Humana ...........

      Per your dental benefits, implants are covered up to one per calendar year and is limited to certain dental codes. This means only one code from the group of approved implant related codes are covered per calendar year. A letter with more detail has been sent directly to the member.

      Humana cashed / processed my check for first month of plan G medicare supplement.
      THEN - sent me a letter saying the application could not be processed = no services for money.

      Humana insurance is a pathetic company. I need oral surgery but Humana refuses to cover medications needed for it.
      Their decision has left me unable to afford having what could be a life condition corrected.
      The surgeon won't even consider me for surgery because of them refusing to pay for sedation and other medications.
      Don't expect Humana to care no matter how important it may be to saving your life.

      Humana is a horrible Medicare health company. I thought that I was switching to a top company when I joined them, but instead, I got the very worst company. The customer service is only there for show, but they don't do anything to help you. Do not switch to them, they have a good talk but they don't do the walk

      Humana Medicare Dental claims department are inept. I sent in a claim 3 times and got a denial one time, a predetermination letter, and received payment. The claim submitted was the same all 3 times with 3 different outcomes. I just kept sending in the claim form and my receipt every time until I got paid. I sent another claim with a cover letter, claim form and my receipt and plainly stated the refund was to come to me so of course they sent it to the dentist that I already paid. When you call a person that barely speaks English answers and just reads the info from the web site that you can read for yourself. They must be hiring some real winners.
