      We are a dental office with multiple business and TIN numbers. They processed our information incorrectly and refuse to correct it when we have submitted multiple requests via fax, mail, and by phone. We have repeatedly tried to have our information changed to the correct address linked to the correct TIN number however they are refusing to correct our information.It is causing issues with our payments because the addresses are incorrect and some payments have been sent back by the office staff because they did not recognize the patient or address listed.When trying to resolve the issue today, 4/24/23, they refused to provide proper information and hung up the line a total of 4 lines. Tried to reach out to a supervisor however they are playing phone tag and refusing to forward us to the proper individual and department to resolve the issue.Looking forward to cancelling our credentialing/contract with them because of this issue.

      I financially struggle so I can have good insurance. I got Humana and was told bariatric surgery would be covered. I’m 3 months in with the process and almost ready to have the surgery. I got a call today saying bariatric was excluded in my insurance and it would no longer be covered. If I want to continue I would have to pay out of pocket. After all the hard work and appointments and classes. Not including hundreds of dollars worth of shakes and bariatric items : I get told that there is nothing they can do and I’m not covered. Then they offer me a discount in the surgery. I cannot afford that?!? After having hundreds of dollars taking out of my check for the insurance so I can have surgery to be told that it was not covered. How is this fair? Can I sue? I’ve got an attorney lined up.

      Very bad experience dealing with this company. Paid no attention to request by phone not to automatically send out prescriptions. Sent out prescriptions without request. Lied to repeatedly. I would give them less than a one star rating.

      If possible I would give a zero star for health insurance. Humana does a bait and switch. They offer more health benefits for medicare ppo then I had with another however once I signed on I have not been able to utilized those benefits because of one reason or another. Their incompetence is way beyond explanation. I worked in the field of health care insurance and home care for 35 years and this is beyond my comprehension of my calling everyday and being on the phone for hours with humana, pharmacy, my doctor to attempt to obtain services and for 4 weeks and am batting zero. Their employees answering the phone can be pleasant some attempt to assist however when I call back there is a lack of documentation of what was said or done to resolve the issue which was nothing. I have reported them to medicare, next stop I will report them to the state of Florida. They cover themselves by lack of documentation, they know it too. They play stupid and do it well. However I can write all day to their CEO and everyone on the internet as I cannot get out of the house and I and waiting services that will come soon. I have nothing better to do. I am homebound. We will see who is standing at the end.

      I have Humana Gold Plus in Florida. I see a Dermatologist every six months since I am prone to skin cancer. During the visits, the Doctor sometimes may find an actinic keratosis and freeze it. At my routine visit a month ago, the Doctor found one AK, however could do nothing about it since Humana now requires authorization. This means the cost of an additional visit. I was scheduled for another day, however, had to cancel a few days in advance due to a schedule conflict. I opted for an appointment eight days later and when I went to the appointment, I was told the authorization was for the missed visit and there was not authorization for the later one. I have given up. It is ridiculous to have to get authorization for simple, routine procedure anyone could actually do at home! Humana has been no help.

      I've submitted several claims, several times over the past few months. When I call in, no one sees the claims. So then after being passed around from employee to employee, someone finally gives me their personal office fax number and verifies that they received the claims, again. After a few weeks go by, I try to check on the claim status. They are non existent! So I go through the same process 2 more times. Mind that each time takes over an hour of being transferred around and having to tell the whole story again and again. This is the worst insurance company I've ever "tried" to work with in my whole 47 years on earth! The employees obviously don't know what they are doing, and neither does the management!
      AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, unless you just like wasting hours of your life on the phone and paying premiums for doing it....

      I bought a dental policy from Humana on exchange. The benefit description published by Humana showed, that the “maximum out of pocket = $375.00 total per individual”. Also, the same brochure said that cleaning is covered, minor dental is covered and major dental is covered.
      In February, I found out that I need an extraction done with a possible implant (both major dental). When my dentist contacted Humana, they mentioned that $375.00 is for children only. They mentioned that I should have clicked an additional button that showed by “Individual”, they meant children. And even though they said major dental is covered, but that excludes implants.
      Common English language says that Individual is Human Being regardless of age. But I guess in Humana vocabulary, Individual is defined as child only.
      This is a classic case of “bait a switch” that they deploy in order to see you buy their stuff and when the time comes, they interpret the language in a way that would enable them to deny benefits. The fact that their own marketing brochures have contradictory statements, is a testament to the deceitful practice they have adopted. DO NOT buy any coverage from them. You will be sorry.

      I have Humana part D and the Dental insurance. If you have to call them, its a roulette wheel chance of getting someone who knows anything helpful, can speak/understand clear English and actually help you. One associate was in a room that included every other garbled conversation in the background, making his unclear English even more difficult to understand. And he could not hear me clearly. I have been with Humana since 2018 and have only gotten 3 associates that understood my problem, was very professional and clear spoken and actually helped with either my prescription or dental plans.

      Humana doesn’t review medical procedures and approve needed medical services in a timely matter.
      It has been 18 days gone by and still waiting.
      My doctor submitted a procedure for my heart last year and was turn down 3 times, until I went into emergency the doctor couldn’t do it and saved my life.
      Now I waiting for a prostrate procedure and they are sitting on it.

      Humana won't pay for hospital bills and they make up excuses. They won't be 100% percent honest with you and rather treat you like dirt. I'm getting my attorneys involved and going after them. Now I have collection agencies coming after me and it's all because Humana won't work with me. I owe over $5,000 dollars on hospital bills and it's all because of Humana
