If I could go back in time I never would have chosen this company. I strongly caution anyone considering hiring ADC Paving. My experience with this company was awful—both in terms of the poor quality of their work and their total lack of professionalism or accountability. I fully understand that mistakes happen, but it is what is done to correct them that shows a company’s true colors.
The paving job was clearly substandard. The asphalt is uneven, poorly compacted, and has visible uneven seams where they added a patch of asphalt without informing me that they were coming that day to add more. The seams are uneven and will need additional work to preserve longevity. It looks more like patchwork than a properly completed repaving job. The area near my deck was left especially sloppy, with no clear edge work and loose materials.
More seriously, their crew caused major damage to my electrical meter during the job—something they failed to inform me about. When I arrived home I found only partial power to my house. They left my home in an unsafe condition that put my home and my dog at risk. I had to discover the damage myself after they left. When I contacted ADC Paving, they took a week to get back to me, denied responsibility citing a vague line in the contract and tried to refuse to reimburse me for the expensive and necessary repairs.
It wasn’t until I had a lawyer send a formal letter on my behalf that they finally agreed to cover the cost of the damage. They refused to fix the poor workmanship, but I wanted nothing more to do with their negligent and unscrupulous business. No customer should ever be forced to pursue legal action just to get a contractor to take responsibility for major damage they created.
ADC Paving not only delivered shoddy work but also showed a clear disregard for property, safety, and customer service.Save yourself the frustration and hire a company that stands behind their work.

ADC Paving did a great job. When they arrived, an area at the warehouse entrance was marked out. The work began with removing the old asphalt. The crew worked well together with the removal of the pavement and preparing the surface for new asphalt. The installing of new pavement was quick and very professional, Thanks for completing the project smoothly.

I had a driveway torn out and replaced by ADC paving 1) after first time paving water settled in the middle of the drive. 2) their solution was to dig a trench from the low spot to the side of my yard? And I do mean a trench, where water created a mud hole.3) came back a third time -tore up the back part of the drive and resurfaced the entire driveway. Before the year warranty was up, I called and said water was again standing in the drive. 4) they sent another crew and dug another trench to feel more like a little speed bump to remove the standing water. 5) also pointed out that gravel was coming out in 3 places in the drive -they not only did nothing about this but never even answered emails or phone calls. I have had 3 other installers look at this problem and all three said that portion of the drive would have to be removed and repaved! So ADC would not be me first choice for any type of work ever again.

Over the past, at least 30 years or more, we have had ADC pave our driveway twice, and seal it numerous times, and have always been pleased and recommended them to a lot of people. No more. They sealed our driveway a couple of weeks ago, and didn't do the job they have always done. There were cracks that should have had sealer put in them, and they look awful. The job was a $500 job and the crew just didn't take the time to make sure the cracks were filled with sealer. I have pictures and it looks awful. The biggest surprise was their total lack of concern when my husband called them. They won't come out and look and even said that it wouldn't hurt it water got down in the cracks and froze this winter, that cracks were good for a driveway. Sure not a way to treat a long time customer. We are older and can't put anything in the cracks ourselves, so guess we will have to pay someone to come out and do it. I sent them an email - no response!! I see other complaints on here, so I guess it's just not the company it used to be. Jeannie L.

Hired adc to put in a new driveway. About 4-6 months after the warranty was up, I noticed a large crack forming down the middle of the driveway. I called ADC and asked about the issue. All they cared about was the warranty was up and basically sorry about your luck. I then asked if someone could at least just take a look at it and tell what could be done, the cost to fix it and perhaps we could work something out. Once again , sorry about your luck. So I now have to hire another contractor to come out and take a look at the issue. Never been treated like this before. Would not recommend them to my worst enemy.

When Mr. ****** called our office with concerns about his driveway, he was advised that we do not handle residential repairs unless it's warranty work. His one year warranty ended in April of this year. With residential repairs not being a service that we offer, it wasn't reasonable to send someone out to determine a course of action and cost.

For someone who just spent $8000 for a new driveway and referred two neighbors to your company for new driveways(which I told the person to whom I was talking) it would have been reasonable and the right thing to do. My question is if it were under warranty who would have done the repair since your company doesn't perform residential repairs. Since my complaint WAS FILED, THE OWNER HAS REACHED OUT FOR A MEETING WHICH IS ALL I WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE. STAY TUNED.

The OWNER HAS NOT reached out to you for a meeting, although you have called his PERSONAL CELL PHONE numerous times requesting a meeting. THE OWNER, who is the person behind the keyboard of this very message, would GLADLY take a look at the issues at hand if MR ******* would please email a few pictures of the areas of concern to [email protected]. Also, MR ****** has misspoken about our residential repair policy, because we DO IN FACT PERFORM RESIDENTIAL REPAIRS FOR WARRANTY ISSUES; this issue is out of warranty. The fact that we do not offer NON-WARRANTY RESIDENTIAL REPAIRS (patching, pothole repair, hot-rubberized crack sealant, mill and overlay, sawcut patching or base failure), as a standalone service, is irrelevant. We do however offer cold poured, liquid crack-sealing and sealcoating as residential repair and/or maintenance options.
That being said, again, please send the pictures and we will gladly offer advice and professional opinion, but we please ask that you act accordingly, professionally and respectfully with our staff as well.
    Sincerely,
    Kevin Gray, President

Mr. ****, I have asked for a meeting every time I called your office but was told both times no meeting because it was out of warranty. When I discovered the cracks initially I called your office and your guys came over and poured some stuff on the cracks. That was handled very professionally and was never told it was out of warranty. The next time I called was because some off the cracks where getting wider and I wanted your folks opinion on what was happening. Your folks came the last time so I thought you would come again and help. I was wrong. I will send you the pictures but you need to calm down as I just want some advice at this time and I have been very professional and respectful with you and your staff. My friend Joe Daugherty gave me your phone number in an effort to help me resolve my issue. Sorry I offended you by calling your PERSONAL CELL PHONE ALTHOUGH YOUR VOICE MAIL SAYS YOU ARE THE PRESIDENT OF ADC PAVING.
