      I purchased a GE Refrigerator with Top Freezer on 9-29-21 for total price of $1049.39.
      GE provided a 1 year Warranty with the purchase of the refrigerator.
      The Refrigerator has needed to be serviced 4 times since date of purchase for frozen foods melting in the Top Freezer and food items freezing in the reifrigerator mostly on the top shelf. I called GE Appliance Customer Service and was told the Warranty does not cover replacement of the Refrigerator Unit, only service on it until it is deemed unrepairable by the Service Rep that comes out to fix/continuously replace parts. The Main Control Board on the Unit has been replaced 3 times and I was told the Board replaced was defective so each time they had to replace it again. I was also advised to keep food stored in Freezer and Refrigerator 2" from back wall at all times.
      The Refrigerator/Freezer has now stopped working AGAIN so another Service Person will have to come out AGAIN to fix the same existing problem that has be reocurring for almost a year. I have also had to replace food items multiple times that went bad due to it not working properly which is very upsetting. The consistent response from GE is they "will send another Service Person out to fix it" and will continue to do so until it is deemed unrepairable and in the meantime I''m losing food items due to the unit that is obviously unrepairable.
      GE has offered an extended 1 year Warranty and I have refused this due to the number of issues and Service this unit has already needed.
      I have faxed multiple pages to GE summarizing the problem and the Reference # ******** for this case on file with GE.
      I am asking for a refund for the refrigeratior so that I may go purchase another Brand and they are refusing to help.

      I purchased a a/c unit and it is a GE large window a/c
      It stopped working on May 23 2022
      I contacted GE and I got a runaround answer for a few weeks and then I kept calling every time waiting anywhere between 30 minutes to 2 hours on hold
      To be told I will receive a call back or I will be contacted
      Then spoke to a supervisor and they didn’t have the unit available any longer but wanted to swap it out for a less BTU unit which obviously would not help me because it would not be strong enough to do what I needed to do
      Then they told me that they would do what they call a buyback on the unit and that a check will be sent to a delivery company and then delivery company would come pick up the old unit and bring me my check it is now August 5 it still has not been done I have been dealing with this since May 23 this is way too long unacceptable they refuse to give me the delivery company‘s name if I had that information we could take the unit ourselves and pick up our check not sure what else can be done just looking for help to get that check and be done with this nightmare
      I keep calling back then told different dates that the check was released and then GE said they tried to contact the delivery company and the delivery company did not answer I keep hearing back I’ll give it a few more days a few more days well I think three months as long enough

      We purchased a $4,000 GE Fridge in October. The freezer and ice maker stopped working two weeks ago (July 24th). We called GE as it is under warranty, they couldn't send anyone out until Tuesday August 2nd. The tech said our freezer was unable to be repaired and needed to be replaced. GE called us and said they were going to try and find someone to do the work and would call us Thursday. On Thursday I received an email that they haven't found anyone. I sent two follow up emails and called them, no one has responded to my email as to when the issue is going to be fixed and I'm just left on hold for hours at a time when I call. At this point I feel that this is becoming fraud as the item is under warranty and they are refusing to fix the issue.

      I am lodging a complaint about GE Appliance Delivery Service. My home warranty company ordered a new Oven to replace my old oven which could not be repaired. The GE appliance delivery network is non-professioal and poorly managed.

      1. No one is there to help. Making phone calls involves a long wait and it goes unanswered. It does not matter when you call.
      2. In the first attempt they delivered a damaged product which I had to return. It worked fine but there was dent on the door. They took my old and new oven back and left it empty and promised a prompt re-delivery.
      3. In the second attempt (after a few weeks) the delivery person noted that there is J Screw missing and left without installing the oven.
      4. I bought the J screw from Lowes and had repeatedly called the delivery service to reschedule. It was almost impossible to find anyone to talk to. I somehow managed to talk to the national delivery support team. The lady was gracious enough to schedule the delivery. The local delivery number did not work;
      5. I got a phone call that the delivery is on schedule. No one showed and not there was any update.
      6. Next day I got an SMS from my phone that the delivery is scheduled again. Again, No one showed and not there was any update.

      My order number is: ***********  I think there is no management oversight and very unprofessional to deal with.

      I purchased a GE fridge from Edwards Appliance and they are refusing to help us. We obviously have a defective fridge and appliance store us “the GE rep is getting frustrated because he has to keep scrapping GE appliances because of issues, and GE does not have any quality control on their products because they just keep pushing out appliances to fill orders due to back up”. He keeps claiming to talk to rep but oddly, he never works the day rep is there even though he keeps telling us he will talk to rep, so we are being lied to and no one is helping us.
      A GE rep came out in June, GE tech did come out and tried to diagnosis the fridge but he stated that the manufacturer has disabled the technicians ability to run a full diagnosis, and this was stated by the GE tech. So if GE techs are not allowed to do a full diagnosis of the fridge, is this their way of getting around finding the problems? No problems then they don’t have to fix anything?

      This fridge is LOUD, make several unusual noises, from banging,to knocking, gurgling, high pitched hums, amongst other noises. The fridge runs constantly, minimum 4 hrs plus without shutting off (who is going to lay for my utility bill?) How long until compressor dies? Fridge dies? Then I’m left with a $2k+ fridge that’s is useless? Ice maker constantly jams, GE tech told us “to deal with it”….nice response.
      Due to all the noise, I get constant headaches from listening to the fridge run, and my ******** ******** is affected by the noise too. We want to return the fridge, but can’t because no one cares!

      So that’s great that GE sends out a tech, but if the technician’s company refuses to help how is that “solving” the issue!?

      I accept this as a NEXT STEP in our process, but i DO NOT want the case CLOSED due to other techs having had come out but nothing was done and nothing is yet rectified. I want this to remain open until this entire case is rectified.

       1) accept 3rd tech coming out as a next step

      2) DO NOT accept it as a resolution…..I will accept a resolution when something has been rectified but so far nothing has been done by anyone, nor any technician

      I have been communicating with GE via company website/email regarding a major issue with my Opal Nugget Ice Maker. I have received multiple replies (all from different people - telling me something different) because they continue to just pass the buck on this issue.

      One employee I communicated with (named Jessica) told me they would send me a box to return the defective unit in and that they would send out a replacement unit as soon as it was received. I waited for a box (which I never received) and ended up having to email her back, asking when I could expect it. She told me she would check on the status of the return box, and low and behold, I never heard from her again.

      I then receive an email from someone completely different telling me that I have to give them a credit card number to put a $300 hold on. I’m not giving anyone credit card information. This machine was bought & paid for ($500) and is defective (it is covered under Maine’s Implied Warranty Law). They’re certainly not getting/holding another dime from me (even temporarily). I want a replacement … nothing more.

      I want this issue resolved IMMEDIATELY. I want a REPLACEMENT unit sent to me promptly.

      Everything about the communication with this company has been sketchy - I’m almost afraid that if I return my defective machine (prior to receiving a replacement) that I’ll get nothing in return, other than the runaround I’ve received up to this point.

      I have received the replacement unit and returned the defective unit, however, this replacement unit (although making ice ok for the couple days that I’ve had it) is extremely loud while running and I am concerned that something isn’t right with it. The last machine I had didn’t sound like this. I am concerned that I may have issues with this one in the near future. Hoping that isn’t the case - but I wanted to make a note of it within this complaint. I will be opening another claim if this replacement machine, (as I suspect it’s going to - based on the sound of it) fails me AGAIN.

      I purchased a GE washing machine from **** ***** on April 12 2022 it stopped working on July 13 2022. I contacted **** ***** they gave me all the info for Ge appliances for warranty. They set up a appointment with *****’s appliances for the 26th. No one showed or called I tried to cal them the number wouldn’t work. So I contacted GE again they said they would send another ticket the guy was rude and ended the conversation before He even gave me a confirmation number. I called them got no where. Finally heard back from email the lady set up a time to call me she the. Set up a appointment with ***** video for August 4 2022 never heard from them so I called to check what was going on. They said they turned down the ticket because their appointments were to far out and GE was told not to be scheduling appointments for them. They said Ge said they would take care of it. No one never called to let me know. Been fighting with them for almost a month to get my washer fixed.

      GE profile refrigerator purchased 1/22/22 $3300.00 under warranty. Stopped working 7/18/22. Appt made through GE website for repair scheduled for 7/19. Called Remeh appliance to confirm appt. They never heard of it. Called customer service to reschedule another appt. Which was for 8/5/22. *** ********* called 7/26 to confirm appt for 7/29 not 8/5. Confirmed. *** ********* called 7/29 to cancel appt and said they no longer had technicians to service this zone. Called GE consumer relations for help on 8/1. They told me that I would be contacted within 24 to 72 hours re new appt. Today 8/4 GE customer relations emailed me to tell me they were continuing to try to locate service provider. Please help as I don’t know what to do. I have asked GE to replace fridge as it appears impossible to get mine repaired.

      A GE refrigerator/freezer was installed on 7/15/2022. This is a french door/freezer bottom model ***********, serial number ********. Yesterday, 3 August 2022 we awoke to find the appliance not working, and a very large puddle of water on the hardwood floor, a result of water leaking from melted ice. I attempted to contact GE appliance service. but they could not find my appliance in their database and the phone number given for service only gave me the opportunity to receive an email link to the website, not talk to an actual person, which results in an endless loop. So I have an appliance that essentially never worked and no way to contact the company.

      I purchased a GE profile refrigerator on July 10th, 2022. After the delivery, I noticed that the door-in-door does not close and contacted GE for service immediately. Two days later, a technician came, took a look, and said he has never seen this issue before and had no idea how to fix it. I then called GE customer service and asked for an exchange, and the representative scheduled another service and assured me that they WILL fix it. A few days later, another technician came, I told him the door-in-door does not close and showed him a video of how the door is supposed to be closing. The technician again said he did not know how to fix it, called someone over the phone, and gave me a phone number to call and a case number. Called the number and provided the case number, but was surprised to find out the phone number reached the customer relations department with the case description saying something like "The customer *prefers* the door to close in a certain way" (which is the way it should). And "The customer is not satisfied because the refrigerator does not work the same as the store model". These descriptions were beyond insulting. Spent more than 10 minutes on the phone just to let the customer relations representative know that this is not my preference, it is an issue. The representative then scheduled me for a service for the third time, which was assigned to the same technician that opened the customer relations case. After waiting for the entire afternoon, I found the technician marked the service call status as "onsite", but never showed up.
