      I have spoken with the company on multiple occasions to schedule a repair for a freezer hinge that is defective on multiple occasions they have rescheduled my appointment without informing me and they have never serviced my unit

      I purchased a new GE refrigerator Model # GFE28GYNFS from Home Depot on 6/4/22 for $2,300.00. It was delivered on 6/17/22. On 7/10/22 the unit stopped producing cold air in the freezer and refrigerator sections. After contacting GE for factory warranty, a service tech came to my home, assed the problem and ordered a part. A tech returned with a part (mother board) replaced it on 7/26/22 and the unit ran for 3 days, getting cool but not really cold. On 7/29/22 the unit was only maintaining 50 degrees so I requested service again. I was told a repair service would contact me in 48 hours to schedule an appointment. It is now 5 days later, no service contact yet, and its now 24 days since I have had a working refrigerator, that I paid what I feel is a lot of money for. I simply want what I paid for, a working refrigerator in my kitchen. Repair, replace or remove and refund, I just need help please.

      [At this time I must reject the business response. I do this only because the issue is still not resolved. A factory technician has diagnosed the problem and ordered parts. As of today we are still not scheduled to have the repair completed until 8/23. Assuming that its successful, this will be 44 days that I did not have use of my brand new refrigerator. And its summer. I was provided $200.00 for the inconvenience and $125.00 to buy a dorm fridge to get me through. I'm not asking for money, just the equipment that I purchased to work. 

      I do not consider this case closed until my food is cold in my kitchen and my ice maker is full.

      This unit should have been replaced.]

      Purchased a new GE refrigerator 1/26/2022 (model # GFE28GYNFS) from ******** ********* ****. Had numerous service calls made by GE for manufacturer warranty work. The fridge was/is a piece of junk, has never worked correctly. On 7/28/2022, GE made the decision to replace the unit instead of fixing it. The exact model was not available and I was offered an upgraded model to which I accepted. Call was placed by myself on 8/2/2022 and was told the replacement was not approved and they could offer me a cheaper unit to which I accepted. Received an email that the new unit that was promised is now on backorder for at least 3 weeks. Upon placing a return call and speaking with the supervisor ******, found out there was not a comparable unit available. I requested they buy back the original unit and refund my purchase price of $3370.17. I was told they are unable to provide the buy back. I submitted the original purchase receipt to them by email 8/2/22. I think it is completely unreasonable to expect a consumer to wait over 5 weeks (the unit has now been broken for 2 plus waiting 3 more weeks for the new unit to come, plus shipping/delivery times which are unaccounted for). I paid hard earned money for something that didn't even last 9 months and no concrete resolution in sight.

      purchased a washer in march, 2022. The washer turns on by itself. The knob is on the off position. Don't know how long the washer was on as we were not at home. I feel this is a fire/safety hazard. Contacted HR (***********) and talked to ******. This was on 7/19/22. The washer has been unplugged for this time. I have turned the knob, pushed all the buttons and it will not shut off unless unplugged. Service man was to come on 7/26/22. We were home this day. Either he didn"t knock loud enough and when we did not answer the door, he didn't even try to call to let us know he was here. I am a disabled senior citizen and my ******* is 100% disability veteran. I feel this washer is a danger. I want a full refund, plus having to pay at the laundermat and I want them to come get this washer promptly. My ******* recently got out of the hospital and I need to be able to buy another washer that will work. Thank you. 8-2-22 factory warrenty repair service called. They were notified by GE. I was to call them back and I did. Repair was set up by GE but haha they don't service this area. ****** from GE called. Gave me a number to call her back. I checked 3 times to make sure I had the right number and called it twice. It was for ******* *****. Called GE *** *** **** opt * (case#********) was on hold for 25mins. I don't know what they are trying to pull but I have had it with them. I am a disabled senior citizen and my ******* is 100% ******** *******. We don't need this added stress. I want complete refund plus and I want them to come get this washer. Thank you.

      I purchased a GE refrigerator from **** ***** and received it on May 2, 2022. It was not working properly since I got it. The refrigerator had condensation on the inside which would freeze because the inside of my refrigerator was 30 degrees F. I finally contacted GE service in the beginning of June. They sent someone out to replace parts 4 times. The last time they said that they don't have the part in stock. They said they are required to provide 3 days to find the part. That was Friday, July 29th. They contacted me by email and said they were still unable to find the part and they would be back in touch on Friday. I've been trying to reach the consumer relations department at ************ all day today. This is unacceptable. I want a new fridge.

      Started contacting GE in November claim ********* took them awhile to come out. finally a month later Service came out. Microwave has a buzzing noise, said they will contact GE and see if they can replace it. Never heard anything again. Called again to get someone out again. What a mess. No one came out at the alloted time they said. Finally someone came that night to look at it. He ordered a part. Came back another day with part. Worked for a while, I went to clean the screens under the microwave, took them out and noticed they where broken & noise is back. Called again Case #********, came out again said they would let me know what they are doing. NEVER heard back. Called again and waiting.

      I have had and relatives have had GE products and never have had this much hassle trying to get something fixed. I'm just surprised that GE is not standing by their product.

      I would like to file a formal complaint in writing for the service I received to fix my broken GE cafe refrigerator. I bought my fridge from **** ***** in January 2022. July 17th, my fridge stopped cooling. July 18t - a GE technician came to diagnose the issue as a broken compressor. He stated that he called corporate to have the part ordered and delivered to my house. He stated that the soonest appointment available after delivery of the part would be August 2nd. I called GE support on August 1st and August 2nd. The August 1st rep said that she sent a message to dispatch and the GE tech to follow-up with me about fixing the fridge. But she saw no part was ordered. The August 2nd rep spoke with dispatch who stated that my order was 'stuck' and that someone would call me by August 3rd. I have been without a fridge for 2 weeks. I had to throw away all my food, which was worth more than the $300 claim that I put in and still have not received that check in the past 2 weeks. I have been unable to go shopping for food because I do not have a fridge and have been spending more money on fast food. I am disappointed that no one has been able to help as I keep waiting for a phone call that does not come and start my mornings with calling GE support. There will need to be some customer service recovery because I do not recommend GE products. I don't know how my brand new fridge, barely 6 months old, completely stops working and I am not given a new fridge immediately.

      Purchased refrigerator and it went out not even a month later. I am still under warranty and GE is refusing to replace my refrigerator and only do a buy back option. Which is not going to work because I bought the whole kitchen set and got a cheaper deal. The refrigerator alone is $3,499.00. I paid $2,167.00 they are not willing to pay the difference and expect me too. They have been giving me the run around for a month now. ** ******* has medications that needs refrigerated. We are a family of 5 having to use cooler with ice. We lost all our food. Something needs to be done and GE needs to make this right.

      I understand that GE agreed to buy my refrigerator back. However, they are only willing to give me what I paid for it at the time of the Labor Day sales at *****. The fridge is at least 1,700-1,800 more than that now. I cannot afford to pay that difference and don’t think I should have to due to a faulty appliance on their end. We have had to throw away ** ******** medications due to not having a way to keep at proper temp. In my warranty it covers up to $300 for a mini fridge. I was supposed to receive that check and only got $100. We are still living out of coolers with ice which in itself is an expense. We are a family of * **** * ********. I feel GE should reimburse for the amount the refrigerator is currently.

      Unfortunately,
      GE will not agree to buyback a refrigerator for more than the paid amount. Consumer
      advised GE when accepting the buyback amount that she had spoken with the
      retailer and after she receives the buyback check they were going to work with
      her on a replacement. Unfortunately, compensation for lost food or a mini
      refrigerator is not something covered under the manufacturers warranty.
      However, as a gesture of goodwill GE has issued this consumer a check in the
      amount of $100 to assist with food loss as well as an additional check in the amount
      of $200 to assist with a dorm size refrigerator purchase. She should receive the
      buyback check and dorm refrigerator assistance check within 7-10 business days.

      I have purchased a GE Cafe refrigerator in July of 2022. The ice maker did not work from day one. I have called customer service to schedule a technician to come over and to check the ice maker. The technician **** ordered a part or the ice maker itself back then to fix the issue. The problem continued and the freezer started to frost in the meantime. I asked the technician to come over again and have a look at it. On his second visit, the tech, **** told me that there is a RECALL for this unit, that is causing all the problems with the ice maker and the freezer and told me he will order another part that will fix all the existing issues. He came over when the part had been delivered and changed a part that was related to the recall. Unfortunately the problem continued. Neither my ice maker issue ever resolved nor the freezer frosting issue resolved. Instead both issues worsen. And water leakage started from the ice maker. I am still taking the ice maker out every other day to dump the chunk of ice that is sitting on top of the ice maker and freezer frosting has worsened. I had to trash a lot of food in the meantime. I tried to communicate with the customer relations services and have been told that 4 parts need to be replaced before they can consider replacing the unit. 4 parts have been changed and I have sent all the photos and videos that are showing the issues to the corporate office through twitter since customer relations were not helpful other than recommending the tech to come over and try to fix it. It has been a year and I have followed their policy and have been patient, hoping that they can fix it.
      This unit is around $4000 with a lot of issues and we are asking GE to replace the unit that had a recall on it which they also never informed me by either email or mail which I have learned from the technician ****.
      The last photo named file is the photo after the last visit of the tech changing 2 parts for the freezer!!

      I bought a GE Microwave in March, 2022. It malfunctioned intermittently almost immediately. I contacted GE. They sent a repair person to my home., who determined it was not fixable. It is still under waranty. Although I asked GE for an immediate refund (preferred) or replacement, GE stalled and took up much time. The repair person who came to my home was baffled at why she was sent to repair something that could not be repaired. Still GE has refused to refund or replace. It seems they just want to ware me out (many hours on phone and email) even though I have a "paper trail" . This is incredibly bad faith "customer service" I would prefer to have a refund, so I could buy a microwave from another service, but I would settle for a replacement. I would like resolution to this. It has taken way too much time for a problem with a clear and simple solution.
