September 18, 2024: A service call was made to replace the drain pump. After this repair, my washer started leaking. I called for additional repair appointments, all related to the leaking issue:
      9/18/24 - Service Order: -
      9/30/24 - Service Order:
      10/9/24 - Service Order:
      10/24/24 - Service Order:
      10/31/24 - Service Order:
      11/4/24 - Service Order:
      (Technician did not show up)
I also contacted customer relations and received Case Number:
One four five nine two eight two zero
The review page won’t let me put numbers in
I spoke with Nadine, but the washer was still leaking.
I then received a part order, and another service repair was scheduled for January 2, 2025. The repair was marked as complete.
However, during the first load of laundry at 3:00 PM that same day, the washing machine leaked water all over the floor. This caused water damage to the baseboards and the basement ceiling.
I contacted GE again, only to hear the same excuses. I was told, "Your machine is 3 years old and well past the manufacturer’s warranty."
This is extremely frustrating. My original call in September 2024 was for a simple drain pump replacement. Ever since then, the machine has been leaking—for 4 months!
Today, I was told that "sometimes this happens, and you just have to have multiple service calls." This is unacceptable. My washer is currently full of wet towels, and I’m exhausted by this ongoing issue.
I want a new machine. Someone from Bodewell damaged my washer, and I am the one paying the price.
Your customer service has been terrible. I attempted to escalate the issue and speak with a manager, but I was told it wasn’t possible.
I am extremely unhappy and disappointed with this company.

I have had a broken refrigerator since October. It is less than 4 years old and it has a 5 year warranty. GE keeps sending out Bodewell to try to fix it. They even admitted they don’t know what’s wrong with it. They also suck at keeping notes. Every time a new person comes to my house, they have no idea what was already done to it because the first guy didn’t put any notes into their system. I have to tell them and then they have to call the other repair guys to verify every single time. It’s so dumb! They also didn’t show up for one of their appointments and never called me, so I had to reschedule for a week later. They’re extremely incompetent. They keep trying various things and have replaced almost every part in the fridge, but it still won’t stay cool. It cools for a few days (false hope) and then stops cooling again. The last guy straight up told me that GE won’t replace my fridge and that they will keep making him come out to replace parts. That’s obviously BS. I called the warranty company again and they’re now sending out a different repair company. I’m so over it! I have thrown out an insane amount of food (because it wasn’t being kept at a safe temp) and ended up buying a mini-fridge just to get by. GE’s warranty says that they have to replace my fridge if it’s “non-repairable.” They won’t do that until a repair company says it’s non-repairable. It has been 2 months of them trying to figure this out. It’s obviously non-repairable, yet I still have to keep dealing with repair companies instead of getting a new fridge. Welcome to my nightmare.
Side-note: my mom also had issues with her GE refrigerator. They’re trash. Don’t buy from them!!!!!

We purchased a GE Cafe dishwasher in June 2021. By mid 2022, we had issues and the machine was turning off mid cycle and not draining. We found out that we needed to replace both electronic control boards. We argued with GE and they finally agreed to cover the parts. It was 1 month out of warranty. We had to cover the $500 in labour to install. Fast forward to Dec 2024 as our dishwasher again no longer works and turns off mid cycle. This time the pump is shorting and turning off the machine. Well, that is a $1300 fix. We clearly got a lemon and are getting no support from GE on this. I would recommend to everyone to steer clear of their appliances. Our original GE dishwasher and fridge both lasted only 10 years. Our new dishwasher didn't even make it to 4 years.

Do not make the mistake of buying the GE appliance Bodewell "membership" for $149.00. It is a scam and does absolutely nothing but waste your money and your time. The "concierge" service dumps you in the same hours-long hold queue as anyone else who doesn't have an account. I wasted three hours on hold this morning trying to reach the "membership" line. The website says we can cancel any time and receive a refund through the "subscription" page on our account. That is false. That site only allows cancellation of the renewal, not the current subscription. It took three hours this morning, seven different phone calls, and at least half a dozen different departments to find a rep who even knows what the Bodewell membership is. The only purpose of this "concierge membership" is to lock you into buying GE appliances. I am so disgusted by this Bodewell scam that I cancelled my GE Mongram appliance orders and will now buy SubZero and Bosch.

      Bu****** company!
My microwave broke one week after the 1 year warranty.
It’s been taking weeks to get anyone from GE to look at it from November look at and it they come up with some bu****** lie after lie about not coming from wrong address to we never asked for an appointment. I have waited for over 10 hours over the course of weeks waiting for a repairman that never came each day! Never ever buy from GE. Their appliances break and their customer service is even worse.

Bought a GE stackable from Lowe’s it was terrible. I called and they told me I needed to get 3 “failed” technician reports which was crazy since the washer was not working. I have kids so I do laundry everyday it’s terrible not having one. I spoke to them about any options but they said no. Do not get GE get Samsung or LG.

In October, our oven began malfunctioning. We called our warranty. GE Appliances is one of their vendors. Oct 28th a technician came out then informed us that is was a malfunctioning in one of the boards. The boards had to be ordered. The equipment arrive and the technician returned November 4th. He replaced the boards. The oven part malfunction again. The technician came out again Nov 14th. This one was a different technician. He told us that our oven malfunction with the new parts and that they had to reorder the parts along with another part needed. we were informed that they wouldn't be able to return until after Thanksgiving. We were hosting Thanksgiving dinner so we had to improvise with a portable oven from Costco and our grill. 3rd appointment, Dec 3rd, the tech arrived only to greet me as "Bruh". oh and our oven still not working properly. 4th appointment, Dec 13th. My husband received an text message stating that the tech will be out 12/13 between 8am-12pm. At 10:30am, I called GE stating that we still haven't heard from the tech. We were told that they will call when they are on their way. Ok. 12:05pm, still no tech. We called our warranty and they called GE, only for them to say that we did not have an appointment for that day. I said, yes, we received a text message. GE says that our appointment is Monday, December 16th, 2024. Monday, The tech was suppose to be there between 8am-12pm. The tech arrived at 12:15pm, only to be there for less than 10 minutes and say that he needs a Helper. Okay. Now frustration. I informed the tech that you have been here before. So you know what my house and kitchen oven looks like. You informed the previous tech of the parts to order so you knew that you needed someone to help you. I began asking questions about tech orders and updates. He said that he doesn't do that and to call the office. He gave us no information but date set for 12/24 but now he said that he is not coming back at all.

I used to buy GE Products because of their name and the quality that they USED to represent.
However, I've purchased several GE Quartz Convection Toaster Ovens that have had to be returned, and now, I'm on my third Toaster Oven, and I'm trying to submit a warranty claim (I registered the over the month I bought it) and it's been impossible.
Their warranty site barely loads, it lets you register, but there's no place to submit a claim, and when I called their support line, I twice had to wait 35+ minutes before eventually having to hang up.
They clearly no longer stand by their products

Possibly the most negligent company I’ve ever dealt with. We’ve had a refrigerator issue going on with them for 18 months and since they can’t get it fixed, they just string you along until you’re out of warranty. Will never buy a GE product again.
