I purchased a GE washer machine less than 2 years ago. It’s not working and the motheboard is gone already,As a consumer to purchase an appliance who’s life expectancy is less than (2) years is a bad purchase. The company values is about money not the consumer. Anytime after 12 months it’s your loss but you call the company sorry we have your money. Your lost the worst experience. (Horrible)

Over the past two years, it has required service approximately five times. Each time a service technician repairs it, the dryer functions for no more than a week before breaking down again. Despite our repeated efforts to address this issue, the root cause remains unresolved.
My mother’s warranty is set to expire in just one month, and I am deeply concerned that these recurring repairs are being used as a temporary solution to avoid replacing the defective dryer. This situation feels like an exploitation of her trust and resources, and it is unacceptable for a product of this caliber and reputation.
Given the circumstances, I strongly urge GE Appliances to take responsibility and replace the dryer entirely. My mother relies heavily on this appliance, and the ongoing issues have caused unnecessary stress and disruption in her daily life.

Just bought a GE washer September 2024, in November of the same year the transmission has gone bad. Still waiting for parts to fix the problem. Oh the technician can't come until Christmas Eve. Never ever will I purchase another GE appliance. Just JUNK.

The WORST customer service. My refrigerator is under warranty and since GE could not repair it they have said that we are on our own to pay for a new one.( They so graciously agreed to discount a new one??)

I bought a fridge and a dryer this last month.(November 2024) The refrigerators ice machine wasn’t working and then we also bought a dryer and from the first load of clothes we dried it makes a loud noice kinda grinding from the motor area. A repairman came and said it was a screw rubbing the tub but still the noise is there. This is a joke why should I pay for new appliances and then they come junk from the moment we start them? After these purchases this will be the last time purchasing GE products. I shouldn’t have to have a repairman come to repair my brand new products.

I’ve recently purchased a GE laundry stackable, Model# GUD37ESMM1DG the end of October, it was delivered November 21st. A service call was made the day after due to water not getting into the tub. Ended up the install team didn’t turn the water on, once that was figured out, the water would then only come out in spurts, the Service repairman figured It out, so I put in a load (not having a washer for three weeks) and went to work, having not been there to hear how loud the machine was. My next load I was home and tried the precise fill option, the clothes were not fully covered. I made another service call on Dec 2 to complain about it being so loud. I called the neighbour over, and she heard it in the hallway, but when she entered my condo, in a loud voice she asked if this was my new machine, I asked if is this would be considered normal and she said definitely not. Being in a Condo, there is a noise bylaw, not to mention the volume of my TV typically sits at 18 to 20, but was turned up to 55 in order for me to hear it over the washing machine. The service repairman was back on the 4th and took a recording as did I and I’m currently waiting to hear if this will be rectified. I am a shift worker and there’s no way I should be governed on when I can do laundry in order to not exceed the noise bylaw. My next step will be to measure the decibels and go from there. Until such time I await a response from the manufacturer.

Avoid GE products. I bought a ge dryer from Best Buy and after one month it quit heating. Best Buy would not fix it, I had to go directly through GE. After days of waiting for a tech one did come and fix it. Then barely a month later the same thing, it quit heating. Another waiting period for a tech to come out. Conclusion, it needed a whole new heating element and wiring harness. Now more days of waiting for parts. Finally a tech came out and fixed it, basically rebuilt this 3 month old ge dryer. Was told by a technician that repairing GE products was a full time job. Now just barely a year later it has guit again, new problem. Again contacted ge and was told for a tech to come back to diagnose the problem it would cost me $124 for him just to show up, parts would be extra. I told GE I would not put another penny into their junk and that this less than a year and a half old GE dryer would be going to the garbage pile where it belongs. I am now looking for a new dryer, and I will never again by a GE product.

GE 10 year warranty is a joke. It only covers the engine of a washer. So when my rinse dispenser quit working and the mother board had to be replaced in less than 2 years after buying a $900+ washer they won't cover the repair.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
We moved into our home on 11/21 without appliances, which were scheduled for delivery on 11/22. The delivery, originally set for 2pm, didn’t arrive, so we called for an update at 5pm. We were informed that our delivery had been delayed to 11/27. On both 11/22 and 11/26, we called to confirm that installation would take place, and each time we were assured it would. However, when the delivery finally arrived on 11/27, the appliances were simply dropped off in our sunroom—not installed.
I immediately called GE, and they informed me that installation was not scheduled. We arranged installation for 12/2 and even paid for it, despite the frustrating experience so far. Yet, on 12/2, the installers failed to show up without any prior notice. I called again this morning, 12/3, and was told our installation had been rescheduled to Friday, 12/6. Unfortunately, we’ll be out of town and unavailable, adding even more inconvenience.
I’m beyond frustrated. We’ve been without kitchen appliances for weeks, resorting to eating out (which has been expensive) or using an air fryer to make basic meals. We’ve paid a premium for GE Café appliances, yet the customer service has been abysmal. Almost every representative, except for one, has been unhelpful, and the manager I spoke to was the worst of all—offering no apology or solution, simply stating there was nothing they could do.
At this point, I am not only disappointed but also completely exhausted by this ongoing ordeal.

I bought a brand new washer and dryer. I used for 2 day then it overfilled water with water and flooded my floors. It also is throwing codes now and will not operate. When you call GE they tell you to call box store or or someone else. When everyone else says call GE customer service. And it takes A hour to get through on phone each way. All I want is my washer fixed. I bought it brand new and only used it a week. If not fixed I will seek other routes for damaged on flood and never buy GE again
