      Refrigerator piece of crap! Easy to move when you buy something that really works! Can't get parts to repair, and nobody at GE gives a damn!!! We haven't even used this refrigerator, and it doesn't work! Parts backordered may not arrive until December. Very poor communication from GE and their service provider ***** ********** in Gilbert Az, they say they are going to call you back and don't, I know this review is a waste of my time, GE will not contact me to see if they can rectify problem. They did offer me 200 dollars to buy a mini (dorm fridge) but i had to buy the fridge first. You and I know I would never see the money! Terrible Company terrible products!!!! Buy a product that works!!! My rating would be 0 if that was an option!

      We bought a GE Cafe Refrigerator from N******* ********* **** on January 6, 2022. Every 6 months they require a new filter. Every 6 months we put in a new filter and the water/ice maker portion of the refrigerator will not work. We called GE and they came out and found a filter that would work. Within the first year all of the electronics went out. They came back out and fixed that. Every 6 months since we have had to call someone out to fix the filter issue. GE now refuses to fix a problem that has been there from day one. Says the warranty is up. It's ridiculous that we have now had to buy and extended warranty costing $725 and with a $50 deductible every time they come out. Why should I be stuck with all of this cost for a defective refrigerator that has had issues from day one.
      N******* ********* **** refuses to help also. How can customers be protected from this type of situation? The product is bad and we have done nothing and yet we are stuck with all of the costs.
      Now the Better Business Bureau says they can't help because it's not within the first year after we bought the product.
      Overly frustrated and upset.

      We bought a GE stainless steel, French door, bottom freezer refrigerator for my son. He has 2 small children. The refrigerator stopped working after only 6 months. Does anyone realize what an emergency it is to have the fridge go out, especially with a baby and toddler in the house?
      GE acted like they understood, but because the refrigerator is under warranty, they use a local 3rd party. No fridge for 1.5 weeks, then the tech shows up and cannot correctly diagnose. He’s on hold for over 40 minutes waiting for GE tech support. Finally determines it’s the motherboard. Now we have to wait 5 to 7 BUSINESS DAYS for the part and then longer for a 2nd scheduled visit for a hopeful fix. My son is getting by on coolers with ice and a mini-fridge in the meantime.
      It feels like there is ZERO sense of urgency and lack of care by GE, and their process is hugely inefficient!! They are the ones that made a faulty product. Why can’t they rush over a new refrigerator and deal with the issue on their own? Why can’t they wow us with their service?
      I am disappointed and angry.

      Absolutely terrible. Warranteed gas range not fixed after a month.
      This company makes me want to pull my hair out and scream. I have been trying to get my warranteed gas range working for a MONTH. First they wanted to blame electric when I already had an electrician come out and test everything and clearly prove the stove was faulty. I had to stand up for myself and force the appliance technician to even look at the motherboard which he then concluded was faulty. I don’t give a shit that the technician is from a third party company; GE is in charge of managing those vendors as part of their vendor contract. Not to mention just scheduling this took me calling THREE different GE numbers and being on hold each time. I never got a proper case number and was handed off to multiple people. Never got email updates despite clarifying my email address many times. Anyway GE sent the wrong part despite having all information they needed, AND they continuously get my name wrong when I have also clarified it multiple times. My name is not hard but the part and the measly $50 stipend for having to eat out for WEEEKS was sent to the wrong name. A third technician came to my house to fix it, but identified it was the wrong part and another has to be sent. That was 7 days ago and I’ve yet to receive any updates on this despite following up twice. I’m at my wit’s end and looking at my broken range fills me with instant rage for how poorly this whole situation has been handled. We’re entering the holiday season and I have no estimation of when my range will be fixed. Absolutely unacceptable. Do better. GE is always and will always be the worst with the cheapest trash products.

      The absolute worst appliance company with the worst repair policies!! DO NOT BUY!! I bought a new GE washer which intermittently left the clothes sopping wet. They have sent out 3 repairmen, 7 appointments, replaced 4 parts and it still doesn’t work and now it sounds like a jackhammer! They also schedule appointments and then don’t show up 10 hours later. The worst communication from the worst company. They refuse to replace it, and refuse to let me contact a supervisor. My first call was in February. It is now November and the next parts they want to replace are back ordered until mid December!
      NEVER BUY GE!!!

      I had a new GE electric dryer delivered and after the delivery people left, I ran the dryer. It makes very very loud screeching noise which seems to be something inside it rubbing against metal.
      Scheduled repair service online since I was unable to ever speak to a live operator in customer service. Appointment was scheduled for today between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm EST. At 1:15 I received a voicemail that the service technician was unable to reach me on the phone and that my appointment was cancelled. Unbelievable! I’ve been home all day and yet the technician apparently cancels appointments if unable to reach the customer. Really? Calls can be missed but why didn’t he leave a call back number?
      So dissatisfied with the product and the service. I would NEVER purchase another GE product EVER!!! Bad products and even worse service.
      I would like to give a 0 star but the lowest possible is 1.
      Buyer beware and don’t buy GE appliances.

      I have a GE Cafe microwave. What a piece of junk. It has broken down 4x times. I even had to buy a new one. The problem is always the same. The turntable does not turn and the unit does not heat anything. Two service techs told me that the unit has a faulty door switch which breaks after a year or so so the unit does not know that the door is closed. I tried dealing with GE but they are no help. They told me to complain to the place where I purchased it. I have a washing machine with them too years ago that kept breaking. They do NOT make good products and their warranty services is horrific. Save yourself trouble and do NOT buy any GE products. Total junk.

      I bought a GE clothes washer and within a few loads realized that it was either very poor quality or a lemon. During almost half the loads, when spin cycle started, the drum would bang loudly against the inside wall of the machine a number of times before stopping without spinning. I would then balance the load with my hands and attempt to run spin cycle again. This would happen consistently with small, medium and large loads. Well within the 12 month warranty, I contacted GE Appliances and they sent Bodewell service to my home. Bodewell's first visit confirmed the problem and they replaced the motor and transmission. Nothing changed...banging kept happening. Bodewell returned, again confirmed the problem and they replaced the springs and struts. Nothing changed...banging kept happening. I called GE again, they scheduled Bodewell, Bodewell called me and said there is nothing else to repair/replace and to work with GE. GE decided to send another repair company to my house and they confirmed Bodewell's advice that there is nothing else to do. GE also advised me to build a sturdier support base which I did. Now GE is ignoring me and Bodewell will not return. The banging continues. This is a very poor quality product or a lemon. The customer service is even worse - they offered me to buy another new washer. All of this occurred within 12 months warranty.

      Horrible service since GE switched to Bodewell technicians for appliance service appointments. Tony as our technician for our washing machine repair, and he arrived at 6:45pm when our scheduled window was 1-5pm. He was visibly annoyed that we would not agree to reschedule. He rushed the appointment as "his ipad would turn off by 7pm." He said he was ordering 4 parts. When only one part arrived, I called GE and they reached out directly to him to inquire how many he needed. We were then told he said he only needed the one part. We were then scheduled for the following week for the same 1-5pm window. He called at 11am stating he was there and that time was best for him. We were not home but at work as the window was 1-5pm. We waited our whole window and he never called or communicated. We then were texting the following day directly with him and rescheduled the appointment he never showed up for. We received a confirmation for a different time, and through more texts he confirmed our scheduled time and would correct it with dispatch. Again we were home for an entire day and he didn't show nor respond via text or phone. It took calling GE to reschedule yet again. He actually showed to that appointment only to take our machine apart and state that he needed 4 parts and we only had 1. He showed no remorse for leaving us with a broken machine nor any recollection that I tried to address that weeks ago. He also said that his ipad wasn't charged and he would order the parts later and schedule another visit later, but clearly we had no confidence in him. I tried to ask what charger he needed so we could schedule then to ensure it happened. He then got in my face in a very threatening manner stating I was preventing him from leaving my home. My husband witnessed this and told him to leave our home as he was way out of line. The tech clearly gave a different story to GE as we are now on a "no service list" and our washing machine is still not functioning.
