      On September 15, 2022 workers from E & M came to my rental property (*** ***** ******, *********** ** ****** to fix a leak under the house. They spent 3.5 hours on the job and did not fix the problem. I was then mailed a bill for $713.67.

      Complaint from ****** ***** on a rental property located at *** ***** **., *********** **

       Our company dispatched (2) plumbers to the above location on 9/15/2022 due to a water leak. Plumbers found all the water lines in the home buried under ground in the crawl in old galvanized piping. Attempted to dig up the lines and repair the leak. The lines are in such bad condition that they cannot be repaired. Plumbers tried to explain to both Mr. & Mrs ***** that the lines needed to be replaced. They called the office and i spoke with both Mr. & Mrs ***** and explained to them what the plumbers had told me the lines due to the bad condition they are in could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. We gave the *****'s an approximate cost to replace the lines and not sure they every understood the lines could not be repaired. We had plumbers onsite for 3.5 hrs. so the invoice for $713.67 was for the time spent trying to locate the leak, excavating under the home and service truck charge. I tried to explain to the *****'s that this invoice was for finding the leak and trying to repair and could not. They stated their income was limited on this rental property and we told them we would keep the cost on the repair as low as possible and work with them on paying us. Our plumbing service manager has since spoken with the owners and trying to explain but they just don't seem to understand. They have paid our invoice in full and we are just waiting on them to approve the repair.
