    I signed up for some type of free or reduced price subscription to *********** a year ago in order to enter a contest. I received an email confirming the subscription enrollment but that email did not include any information about the terms of the subscription. I’m reasonably certain that I cancelled my subscription after initiating the free trial, because I always do that, but did not receive an email confirmation. After about a week I stopped using the platform entirely. I still received some email advertisements from them here and there, but stopped receiving emails entirely in about May of last year (5 months after initiating the subscription). Then suddenly a few days ago I noticed a $99 charge to my back account for their subscription fee. I did not receive an email reminder prior to this charge happening. I reached out to request a refund since I have not used the platform in a year which they refused. I went ahead and cancelled my subscription, and again did not receive any type of confirmation email to indicate that I did. How can I be expected to prove I cancelled my membership previously if they won’t provide confirmation of the fact? How can I be expected to dispute that they violated the terms of the contract if they won’t provide a copy of it to me at the time of the subscription, and their website says they can change it any time they please anyway? Extremely shady practices. Do not subscribe to *********** even on a free trial or reduced price basis. They will unrepentantly take your money and refuse to give it back.

    Dear Sir or Madame,
    I'd like to file a fraud complaint against ************ I'm a freelance writer (creator/author) on *********** (**************** and I have remaining money for them in the amount of $368.45. On August 19, 2023, I made a request to this company to withdraw that money, but I never received my money, even though I emailed this company about it multiple times through **** (customer support). I even gave **** a screenshot of the money I have with them and my author URL, but to no avail, and I still did not get my money. I should get my money after a week of requesting it from them but I never did. I checked with Stripe, which is the payment processor, and my bank, and there was no money processed or received by them from ************ I also checked my writings online that I have written for them, and they all disappeared after I requested my money from this company. Because I'm having a problem getting my money, I checked their company address and phone number online, but it's vague, so I don't know exactly where this company operates in the USA. I have no job right now, and I really need to get my money from them. Something fishy is going on. Please kindly help me in this regard, as I have been waiting already for more than 2 months and I still did not get/receive my money from them in the amount of $368.45. I saw on the BBB website that this *********** company have many complaints from other consumers like me. Help me, please. I need my money that they owe me, especially now that I'm not working.     They extracted money out of my bank account more than $300 and I would like my money back period

    Hello ******,

    Thank you for reaching out. As stated in our Terms of Use, "Your Vocal+ membership will continue and automatically renew until it’s cancelled. You may cancel your Vocal+ membership at any time and you will continue to have access to Vocal+ Services through the end of your billing period, unless otherwise communicated to you by us. In the event that you cancel your Vocal+ membership, you’ll still be a User of the site and will be able to access all Vocal Free Services." We see that you did not initiate cancellation, and never reached out to us before this year. We have refunded your $99 charge from August 31, 2022 as a courtesy, and cancelled your subscription. You were not charged this year.

    I signed up for vocal media over a year ago and used it for about 2 months. After 2 months, I got rid of my 9.99 per month subscription and deleted my account.

    I have recently begun freezing my debit card as a recommendation from my bank for increases security. I received a notification that vocal media was unable to withdraw its monthly subscription of $9.99. They have been charging my account for 18 months without my knowledge. I attempted to log into my vocal media account however, as previously stated, I deleted it.

    I emailed vocal media to halt further subscription payments and cancer my card.
