      I ordered hurricane shutters, from Acadian last July 2024. They said they would be ready 4-6 weeks. I never heard anything from them; ever. No updates, nothing. I gave them plenty of time, and called them at TWELVE weeks to find out why I hadnt heard anything, and if my shutters had even been made. That was a forecast of other issues to arise. However, my complaint is the fact that Acadian parked their truck in my front yard, did damage, and has yet to fix it.Even though I have attempted MULTIPLE communications with them, all I hear are promises and then silence. I just want my yard fixed(correctly!) since they were the ones that put the ruts, and a hole in it. I say correctly, because their manager stated that it could be fixed by squishing it down. You cant fix treads, ruts, and holes by squishing them further down! I have photos and texts correspondences to back up my claim. Currently, to fill the hole, so as to somewhat minimize runoff, I just put the grass that I edged from the curb into the hole, but that isnt even a real temporary fix. But, since I have not gotten any response to the text I sent the ** on 4/14/25, I feel that, at this point, my only recourse is the BBB.

      We have spoken to the customer and are in process of fixing the issue. We dont have this happen often and will tyr our best to make things right.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.  Acadian Windows called me the very next day after I filed the complaint and discussed the situation with me.  Later that day they sent out their landscaping contractor to measure the area of my front yard where they would be filling, leveling and covering with sod, which occurred that Friday.  I received a call, both from the manager as well as the president of the company.  The completion of the yard was satisfactory.  They also gave me two gift cards and the invoice for the installation of the hurricane shutters, which I have not received prior.  I consider the incident now resolved and closed.

      I have Acadian do my hardy board siding. After a week my Freon leak. I had my electrician came out and pump Freon into it. After another week, it leaks again. So I cut out my Sheetrock and nail was right on the Freon line. I told the salesman about the issue and its seem they dont want to address the issue.

      Im emailing about this complaint we received from ****************. I can respond to it, but it's already been resolved and we paid for the freon leak. He said he would try to reach out to BBB to have the complaint removed. Is that even an option if he requested it? Is so is there someone in particular to speak with?
