      I purchased a contact lens exam with the intent to have contacts prescribed in time for my daughter's wedding. I began the process on 5/1/25 and by the wedding on 6/21/25 I still did not have a trial pair that worked. I believe I tried six different prescriptions during the course of that time, and none of them worked, so I contacted them to ask for a refund. I explained that I had paid for a service that should have included me walking away with the correct prescription, but instead I walked away empty-handed and frustrated since despite the repeated attempts, and repeated appointments, they repeatedly gave me the wrong prescription. In the end I have nothing to show for my money my time and my efforts and I can never get my daughter's wedding day back to correct this. It was a huge disappointment, but they didn't care. The manager I spoke to told me that there is never any guarantee that I would receive the correct prescription, which I find absurd. What else was I paying for then?? He was unwilling to help me at all and refused to refund me the fee I paid.

      On 5/8/23 we visited D'Ambrosio for a scheduled eye visit for my son *****. At this point we were under a new Insurance provider "'****** *** *******'. Despite providing the new insurance cards the business' continued to charge the old insurance provider on file for the visit. On December 22nd I noticed the charge of $230 on my statement due to 'coverage terminated'. I placed a call to the office and was told as it was over 90 days they no longer could charge the correct insurance. I am looking for my visit to be covered under my medical plans that I still currently have. The fault was no way my own, in addition current practices have shown that the office makes phone calls if they run into situations of no insurance converge to validate the information in which this never happened.
