    Contracted company to work on leaking foundation. They installed a french drain on the exterior of the building and then applied sealant to foundation walls on the interior of building. When contacted about the quality of their work, they scheduled someone to come out on 2/29/2024. As of today, 3/5/2024, have not had anyone to the building nor have I been able to contact them at any of their business. When I call the phone number provided by BBB, they claim that they are not Newstone Masonry & Waterproofing by NS Masonry & Waterproofing. The ThumbTack website for Newstone Masonry has been taken down as of 3/5/2024.

    I hired this company to fix my foundation and signed a contract for a $12000 ************ they began the work they told us it was going to be $78000 and our house wouldnt be safe to re enter until they secured it. We agreed verbally but werent provided with another contract. We were told the hole in our foundation would be sealed shut nightly. The night before a snow storm they left a hole about 6x10 wide open. We had 2 other masons come out to check the work after this causing us not to trust them and were told they were doing poor work, and way overcharging. Two different companies told us to not allow them to touch our house again. We asked the company to refund us the $40k as they only completed half of the original $12k job and were told no. We have had to hire a new company to fix their work and finish the job. The ***** we have fixing and completing the job has told us he will write a letter or do what is necessary to help us get a refund because he knows that we were taken advantage of in this situation. We signed a contract agreeing to pay $12k but not one agreeing to pay $78k and we were only even given the contract for $78k upon request. Both contracts stated that the same work would be done so the insane upcharge doesnt make sense.

    Never finish the job, left my basement covered with 1" of dust and has not returned my phone calls to get the job finished
