If you ask us to make an appointment, honor it. Today I was handed a staples coupon, without explaining or anything more and told to wait and leave the counter. I assumed this was for the inconvenience of waiting. I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment. Got scolded for not signing in, to a sign in sheet that was behind the counter. Upon signing in another customer yelled at the associate while he wrote my information down because she had an appointment an hour and a half prior to mine and she was under the impression I was going to be served prior to her. After being yelled at, another calmer customer was walking up to be served. At this point I asked that I be texted when it was my turn so I didnt have to remain in the store. I left the store and walked about .5 miles down the road. 45 minutes later I got a text saying I was next. I got back to staples and the associate was saying Ill never do anyone a favor again I thought you were staying close. I didnt know you were going home. I explained I lived over *********************************************************** 6 minutes. You think if they missed the appointment by 45 minutes they should be much more flexible about a 6 minute return. Horrible experience. Staples ***** should really reconsider renting to you because its affecting their reputation also.

Here in ****** ***** there is an Identigo inside of *******************************. The individual was rude to me but nice to all of the other patrons. I have never felt more disregarded as a human. The people that came in before and after me were treated with respect where as I was asked did I need something when I simply transitioned to a better seat. Please do not attempt to go to this location unless you are white.

I needed a Saturday appointment for TSA PreCheck and my options were limited. I made one about 1.5 hours away from my house. They cancelled it, sending me an email a few days ahead that I needed to reschedule. I did so and found that that location was no longer available, which must have been the reason for the cancellation. Fine. I made an appointment for a different location, also 1.5 hours away, for the same Saturday. I got a reminder email a few days ahead of time. I drove there in awful DC area traffic, rain, almost got in an accident, I know, tiny violins, but it was stressful. I arrived on time (it was a Staples store), only for the guy to tell me that they had stopped doing those appointments about a week prior. I checked my email to make sure I hadn't missed another cancellation notification, and I had not. I did not get mad at the ********************* because it wasn't his fault. He told me to complain to Idemia. I got the feeling he was used to this. Literally 52 minutes AFTER my appointment time, I received an email that the appointment was cancelled. Um, thanks? I emailed to complain, got a canned response telling me to call. I called, opted for the they-call-me-back option because hold time was high. They called me back and the lady was nice enough and listened. I asked for a code that would waive my fee or something, anything, for when I try making another appointment. She said they don't do that, all they can do is make my next appointment for me, which obviously I can do online myself. But I'd still be paying for it. This is about what I expected but at least I told someone. She didn't even ask for my ticket # or anything though so I'm sure this won't get addressed in any way whatsoever. They need to get their s*** together.

IDEMIA should shut down their website to renew TSA precheck online. I tried to renew 4 days straight 5 times a day at different time. Still no luck. Their call center said it works so keep trying, but I gave up and had to make an in person appt. Apparently they make more money $78 vs $70 if you renew in person. TSA should force them to fix their website.

I made an TSA precheck appointment at Staples for 4 pm. There are so many people ahead of me that I wont get in until 6 pm. Maybe. The check in person is nasty and told me that they book like this because its all about the money. Guess what? My time is valuable too. How ironic that Im doing this to save time at the airport. Plan to bring a snack and something to occupy hours of your time. Unfortunately we are all stuck with this company and, in turn, the company exploits this.

You can read all the comments in the other reviews and they apply to my situation as well. Brief summary of events, went to renew my tsa precheck status in September of 2022, now January if 2023 and there has been a "technical issue" that they can not resolve and move my application forward. Therefore I have not been able to renew the pre-check. All the people at the call center just take notes on the account and don't help. There is no other number to call for assistance assistance and because your problem isn't their problem no sense of urgency. While this is a luxury for me, I truly feel bad reading these reviews of those that need it for their job. Idemia I hope loses their contract with the government and they offer another option for the public.

They change your appointment without telling you. Treat you like a piece of garbage when you speak to them and physically stop you from leaving to literally try to fight you (****).

I had my fingerprints done for a background check back in September. I need them for my nursing job. It's December 1st and STILL no results. Can't get anyone on the phone (have tried multiple different numbers), no reply to my email to customer support. Wish I had another option to use a different company.

I applied for TSA pre-check under the guidance that most applications take 3-5 days to process. It has now been over a month, the flight I wanted pre-check for is 2 days away, and all Idemia will tell me is that "most" applications take 3-5 days but some may take up to 60 days. Think about the logistics of that for a moment...unless the 3-5 days is a complete lie, they are processing most applications in that time and leaving others to sit and wait. Meaning, most of the people that have applied in the last month after my application received their pre-check and I'm left to wait. There is no visibility into where my application sits in the process. I just have to wait. When I asked if I could be refunded, ******* said "No. Well you could request it, but there's no guarantee." Must be nice running a business where providing decent customer service is not a requirement to grow revenue because there are no alternatives for consumers.

Let me start by saying that I try to keep an open mind when dealing with businesses. I've worked in different facets of customer service for a long time. That being said...... horrible business model. I don't want to go into too many details like the horrible wait time and that appointments basically don't matter. My main issue is them not knowing their job. The gentleman who helped me in ********** was very kind and we had a great talk. He took my id, verified info, did all of the scanning, took my picture, and took my payment. I have the receipt from it. It's almost two weeks later and my status has not changed. I can't call the *** since it wasn't 2 weeks, so I called and spoke with a very kind agent, ********. She put me on hold so that she could get someone to look at it. To sum up what she said, it never went through. I don't know if he didn't hit "send" or whatever the procedure was, but it was never processed. I can't start my new job without this clearance. Why do companies use this business??? I know someone who didn't get her results for 4 months! I will raise heck if this costs me my job.
