      I was charged $150 for a car that wasnt safe to drive, then they refunded to another car that was cheaper but still charged me the same price its been going downhill

      They will charge you $200 if you 15 minutes late returning the car this company is a rip off need to be put out of business

      Zipcar did not send me a speed camera violation for over 60 days - so i lost my right to dispute and was charged fine and their $30 fee. When I spoke with a manager they said its the policy. Theres zero care and or understanding from them. I explained I never received ticket and just wanted $30 fee waved. They didnt care so I cancelled my membership. Been with them for years now theyve changed! DONT JOIN THEM.

      I was treated unfairly while renting from this company poor customer, over charge me for a car that did not have proper maintenance on it. Double charging and locking ?? doors I don't feel it's ****** how they treat people.

      If I could give it 0 stars I will Terrible customer service I will cancel my membership and never rent again from then There staff are not trained They take the customers as a joke even laughing when you ask for them to adress your concern Hanging up the phone when asked to speak to a supervisor And supposedly the supervisor will call you back and never do Terrible

      I couldnt see the cost of the cars until I paid a $25 application fee, only to find that all of the cars are ridiculously expensive. I asked for the charge to be refunded, but they refused to refund it even though I called immediately after saying to cancel my application. there was literally no services provided to me for that money and I cannot recommend zipcar less.

      I've cancelled my Zipcar account.... what started out as a great service has turned into an expensive nightmare... Prices have gone up while service as DECLINED tremendously!! As example... I reserved a car... arrived on time to pick-up... Previous driver had not yet returned the car... 20min later I contacted Zipcar support... I'm told no more cars available at the garage... I was told they would book me at another location... I arrive at the new location, can't access the car... Call support again... after another 20min, I get access to the car... The car is an absolute mess... I submit pictures... It's rainy out... while on trip I noticed the tires are swerving... balding... I call support to submit a claim/reimbursment... I mention that I know there is a $50 fee for returning a car late, I'd like to request that $50 be passed on to me for my over 45min delay and was extremely late to my meeting... I'm told a manager will review and get back to me... They never do... I call again a week later and I'm told they can't credit me the $50 and that apparently I refused a one hour credit (never happened), so there's nothing they can do.... case closed!! WOW

      Bad for business Im paying monthly fees and Im Not able to book a vehicle because they suspect fraud. I offer to come inside and show proof to everything. Reminder that before I added/remove payment methods it wasnt letting me book a car. ***** and manager **** told me 3 different excuses fraud, outages, and it took me forever to speak to a Manager

      ZipCar is a rip off. I would rather rent from major brand that here. I have used them 3 times so far, and, each time the cars were dirty. One on the inside and the other on the outside. Thier so called cleaning service does a poor job, if you are in business renting you do your best to ensure each rental is pristine, no order or damage to the vehicle. The only vehicle that I rented out of the 3 was "Ok". The last rental was in the campus garage and was the worst experience ever trying to locate something that wasn't directly at the address listed on the app. I have called and chatted with them for multiple reasons, one was to see if they offer any sort of discount and the other was to see if anyway I could return the vehicle early with a price break. Both responses was an astounding "No". They aren't customer oriented and fail the test on pricing also. I rented for one day rate the first time paid about $92.00, then the second time about $98.00 and then the third time $115.00, do you see the ridiculous increase? Also renting from other companies they charge about $55 /day. Regardless of the deposit which is refundable from top tier agencies. They are honestly a last resort on the totem pole for renting and not worth the $300+ I already spent along with their application fee of ***** and 9.00 monthly fee I would like my money back if that was possible but of course we will see the response.
