      I was promised I wouldnt be charged when I arrived back 2 mins late. *** and gentlemen, I need a few minutes to get my things out our head locked when I was in the vehicle explaining the situation and it took him 45 minutes to add a few minutes onto simply avoid the car line going off. Which the car alarm went off more than once at 1:30 in the morning and I told him I wasnt getting out to ensure that that would not happen and it did. Two days later I was charged and taken from debit card $65 that I was promised and asked three times that I wouldnt be charged and then they removed me from even using the service. No one will call the recording of the car, and they just dismiss me every time in the amount of money Ive spent with them in that time. Thats what upsets me the most as I was a good customer who spent quite a bit to get where I needed to go give him my circumstances . They dont listen nor care about customers after calling several times to work it out and no one person pull the call. ***** and dont trust what they say. Horrible customer service.

      Zipcar is a RIP OFF! the price daily for a car is LUDICROUS and they should not be in business. I requested a refund for the $26,94 and they refused to oblige. I do not recommend this service to anyone and further more the better choice might be to use another company that is more reasonable. But it seems no matter what you will get approved just to incur the fee for applying

      I am writing to file a complaint against Zip car for their unreasonable and uncooperative behavior in two separate incidents.Incident 1: On March 5th, 2023.I experienced a hit and run accident while using their rental car. The car was severely damaged with the door not closing properly, forcing me to hold it with my hand to ensure my safety while driving from the accident site to the return location. When I contacted their customer service representative to report the incident, instead of assisting me, they persistently pressured me to return the car by a specific time. Their lack of cooperation and empathy during a stressful situation was highly unprofessional and disappointing. This pressure from the representative left me with no choice but to drive the damaged car myself, putting my safety at risk.Incident 2: On February 7th, 2023. I rented a car from the company, but they failed to provide an updated access code for the parking lot gate where the car was located. Although I managed to access the car with the help of a passerby, I contacted the company and requested that they update the access code information. However, they did not take any action until the time I returned the car. As a result, I followed their instructions to park the car near the parking lot when returning it. A few months later, they charged me for a parking ticket. I requested a refund, but after initially agreeing, they later denied my request via email.These incidents reflect poor customer service and unreasonable behavior on the part of Zipcar. I have attempted to resolve these issues directly with the company, but my efforts have been unsuccessful.

      I have never received a clean car from zipcar or one that doesn't reek of Marijuana and there's never been compensation for those things ever.

      Zipcar is by far the worst company to work for and or rent a car from. They treat customers and employees like they are noThing. Their cars are total c*** and always have problems. If you cancel your membership they will continuously keep billing you. Do not give them any of your information. Their customer service is a complete joke. I repeat do not ever rent a zipcar. Without **** carrying them they would absolutely be nothing. Spend the extra money and rent a car from a real rental car place.

      Horrible business ethics and even worse customer service. Half the time youre gonna get someone who doesnt know what a car even is. The crazy up charge for paying tickets is a big scam. Rates are OK but horrible, horrible business overall.

      VERY FUNNY THAT YOU MENTION THAT, AS I SPOKE TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY MYSELF! I COULD HAVE LOST MY LIFE BECAUSE THE PREVIOUS CUSTOMER FAILED TO MENTION THERE WAS ISSUES WITH THE **** YOU ARE SO CARELESS AND MONEY HUNGRY THAT YOU WILL CHARGE SOMEONE FOR AN ACCIDENT THAT WAS CLEARLY NOT THEYRE FAULT GIVEN PROOF. ZIPCAR IS SO CARELESS AND EVIL DONT TRUST AT ALL! HORRIBLE COMPANY. NOT AMERICAN STANDARDS THATS FOR SURE!! THE INSURANCE COMPANY CLOSED MY ACCOUNT AND ALSO MENTIONED THE EVER POPULARITY OF ZIPCAR AND PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS.

      Do not use zipcar. I cancelled my membership months ago and didn't know I was still being charged. They continued to bill me and now they refused to refund my money. Terrible customer service.

      Someone called when I was doing door dash and said they were DoorDash Support. That I needed to sign up to zipcar and I didn't. And then they started to drain my bank account they are nothing but scammers

      Its really such a bad company! I applied, waited 5 business days, still under review, I canceled. Thought what company needs 5 days to verify you. Then in a chat on ******* with Support i get told I got approved 2 days ago but now I cancelled and cant re-aply. I said: i never got info about this and now I cant re-apply because I decided to cancel?? Is it like you are angry that a customer decides to cancel? I could not believe it and made a new application. Failed. I made a new one. Failed. A third one. Failed. Just as a reminder. I had been Zipcar customer already before like 2-3 years ago. Oh wonder I got approved. But now I have no chance at all get always denied. Thats a scam in my eyes! You approved me few days ago and now I am no longer eligible? If a customer with a valid drivers Licence ( are you even able to check this or do you just look pictures??) and tens of thousands of cash in his bank account, 1 moving violation in the last 7 years ( yes I drove into a bus lane at 3am in the night to check a noise coming from my car ) is not eligible few days after he was eligible, than this SCAM and you always take the 25 plus 9 dollar fee. I would love to know how many customers are you not approving but taking their money, looks like a easy way to make money. I feel like this is part of their business. Be aware of it, their whole drive within minutes is not true. Most most people need to wait several business days. And then dont get approved because they maybe cancelled on their own. This is Zipcar!

      Last Saturday, I decided to renew my membership with Zipcar. After I have been approved, I checked on line for cars available in my area. I tried days ahead, even weeks ahead. There were no cars available anywhere. I called and expressed my frustration with them. They said, there is never any cars available in my area. Its always booked. So it makes it impossible for me to get a car. In short, they were not able to provide a car for me anywhere except places far from *********, **. I told them that is not convenient for me to do especially if I have to run errands in my area for a couple of hours. I asked that I get my $40.00 back and they said they can only give me back $10 for monthly membership fee while the other was just fees and tax. They are not able to give me car at all and yetso why should I spend and lose $30.00 if they can not provide cars for their members.
