      Third time in three months the car I rented for a day of errands on a Saturday is not in place, and this time they couldnt even get a car nearby to replace. Absolutely never using them again. Completely unreliable.

      The cars are okay, but they have horrible customer service. I booked a car today and cancelled my reservation before the time that would cost a cancellation fee. When I cancelled, it said the cost to cancel was 0. So then I look at my account and I was still charged for the reservation, but I was getting a refund. The refund takes 2 to 3 days and since this is the weekend, I guess I won't get my money for a few business days. I called customer service to ask why they couldn't just reverse the charge. I wouldn't have cancelled if I thought I would still be charged for it. The representative just kept repeating the policy about the refund like I was an idiot. They outsource their customer service to India I believe, and they aren't necessarily rude, but just completely unhelpful. Any other business knows how to waive fees or give refunds to keep customers happy, but the people at Zipcar are unyielding. They are so strict about their rules and even when you ask to speak to a supervisor, they tell you the exact same thing.

      Relatively new user to **********************. After quite a few rides, I received an email that my account was being closed due activity that was deemed disruptive. Ive reread the community agreement and all the fine print many times and still could not find out what rule I may have broken. I understood that my account would be closed and stay that way, they said this was an irreversible decision, but I did not want my account back, I honestly only wanted an explanation as to what I did wrong. After many calls and emails, I kept getting the same answer. We cant tell you what you did wrong. , This decision came from higher up, and we cant explain what the reason was. Answers like that. No one even gave me a phone number or an email to a supervisor or manager or anything. Kinda *****. I really only want to know what it was I did wrong so if I attempt to use another transportation service similar to this, I wouldnt want to s**** up in the same way, but they wont even tell how I messed up, so how am I supposed to know???-*********************

      I have been a zipcar member for ages. This year 2023my monthly membership is being taxed (zipcar explains it as operating costs). So my $50 monthly fee is $54.50. When I make a reservation I am taxed again. Im being taxed twiceis this even legal? I am curious to hear back from someone on this matter. Thanks.

      Just make sure you never travel without the physical Zipcard. I was running errands, walk out of the store and all of a sudden the car is "offline," thus locked and I am unable to get in. I call customer service thinking they can unlock it remotely. They cannot. The guy said he was going to call Roadside Assistance, put me on hold and then ultimately hung up. I had to take an Uber back to my house, pick up the card, and Uber back to the store. Meanwhile, I called customer service again and asked that at the minimum could they refund the cost of the trip? The response was that it needed to be escalated. Huh?? So the car goes offline, by no fault of mine, I'm standing outside in 30 degree weather waiting for this customer service guy like 30 mins for him to ultimately hang up the call. **************** is TRASH. This service is unreliable and they really need to make some changes. Clearly I should have read the myriad one star reviews before signing up. I repeat, UTTER TRASH.

      The worst experience with customer service. Card and app. Not only once but twice that paying a membership and Im not able to gain access to a vehicle. App didnt work or the card to access the vehicle. After being a member for over 7 years I decided to cancel my membership. Cars are filthy and the company itself is irresponsible. Would suggest using another rental company even if its more expensive.

      I have been a member with Zipcar and used its car several times until I got involved in a minor accident. Then they just suspend my account and keep charging me monthly membership fees! They don't even want to guarantee that they'll refund me. And every time you email them you always get the exact same answer, which is useless. So save you some money and time and don't use this app!

      I have been a member with Zipcar for years prior to this year I restarted a new membership recently in the past two months I have had two vehicles one looked like someone throw up in it and was dried like it been there for a long time and smelled terrible which i Than had to clean so I could enjoy my reservation .........ok now to my most recent one I had on December 23rd 2022 from 3:30pm to 11:30 pm I brought the car back around 9 after doing some last min Christmas shopping & went home, Now two days later on Christmas 12/25/2022 I get a text message saying that the car has not been returned to its home location, I look n reply saying I returned the car even earlier than my reservation time and clearly still the representative goes ************* with me asking if I bought it back to its home location or somewhere in the area and like I said I have had Zipcar in the past so I know you have to bring it back to where you pick it up from she than says ok I'll send a team member out to check the vehicle is in its home location and if she had any more questions she would contact me now than again three days later from the 25 now the *********************************************************************************************************** for missing keys for 284. And change which I am very upset about because this cannot be real at all I canceled my subscription and I will be looking into taken some legal action because I feel like they just wanted anyway of getting some kind of charge from me this is very unfair!

      No **************** Would not recommend. They charge a whole day's fee for being 12 minutes late! That's $165 for 12 MINUTES The CSR's hold you on the line for hours and then tell you they can't help or they cut you off entirely faking like the line is breaking up.
