In early November 2024 I contacted Gregory's Fine Tailoring to have a bridesmaids dress hemmed. ******* responded from his ************** number (listed on his website). This number was clearly a cell number as he was able to text me from it, confirming he would pick my dress up (his website did say she picks up and drops off projects, so it seemed professional). **** told me in a week he'd have my dress done. I called him after that week and he answered stating he needed additional time to get the job done. I said it was fine since I didn't need the dress until early December. The next week (Friday 11/22/24) I contacted **** again to request I pick the dress up the next day (Saturday 11/23/24), **** stated I could come by and pick up the dress. The next day I showed up to the listed address and there was no clear store front, and **** never showed and didn't respond to any text, call or email. I went away for Thanksgiving, but upon my return 12/2/24 I went straight to the address again after attempting to touch base with ****. ****** number was going straight to voicemail and he was not responding to texts or emails. I spoke to the owner of a laundry mat next to the listed address for ****** shop and she mentioned he went out of business and a number of people had come in looking for **** and stating the fact he took projects and never returned the clothing item, even after some people had already paid. **** took my $200 bridesmaid dress and left me in a lurch as I then had to rush order another dress for the wedding. This is unacceptable and I want to be compensated for my dress.

My Fianc and I left her brand new wedding dress with ******* to have it tailored on July 2nd 2023. ******* informed us that it would be ready by August 1st. On August 1st my Fianc called ******* to pick up her dress. ******* informed my Fianc that no work had commenced on the dress. She decided to retrieve her dress from the tailor and bring it else where. When we returned home and took the dress out of its bridal dress bag there were two blood stains on the dress. I immediately called ******* and informed him of the stains. He denied all culpability, refused to pay for the cleaning of the dress and hung up the phone. We want the cleaning costs paid for by Gregorys Fine Tailors.
