      I bought a new house in July and for years I had travelers insurance. So I have only had Safeco for a couple months. They had my two cars and my house.I missed one payment I want to say in july and what I mean by missed is I put it in my bank and I guess I typed in the wrong number because I work two jobs and I'm very tired and I do a lot of my stuff from my phone.They sent me like a warning so I measure I paid in August via a check I believe. I attempted to pay for September but I guess I wrote down the wrong number again. I don't know what else it could have been.Anyway today I come home and there's two pieces of mail from Safeco. One tells me that I missed at least two payments if not more and because of that they must cancel my car insurance.. and then the other mail wanted me to pay in October. So they didn't get their money two times not even in a row and they cancel my insurance during the time of need where they know that this is going to make my premium go up go eat some sweaty a** Safeco . Worst insurance company ever I'm going to cancel my home insurance on Monday you incompetent company.

      if I could give zero stars I would. to state auto, you're only a policy# n an ACH withdraw. they do not want any contact w humans nor do they treat you as a human. their rates are insanely high and business ethics are ridiculous! ANY other insurance *** is better then this joke of a company!

      Can I choose 0 stars???!!! How much is Liberty Mutual paying you for an A+ rating???? They are HORRIBLE!!! NEGLIGENT. UNRESPONSIVE. MASTERS OF THE RUNAROUND. MORE INTERESTED IN COLLECTING PREMIUMS THAN SERVICING CLAIMS. A COMPLETE SHAM OF AN INSURANCE COMPANY!!! To any consumer reading this - STAY AWAY FROM LIBERTY MUTUAL!!! And if you have the misfortune of being a customer, GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN AND DEFINITELY BEFORE YOU NEED THEM TO SERVICE A CLAIM!!!

      horrible service. They lure you in with a low price but their online service is horrible. You can't really make any changes to your policy online, it seems like you should but it always just eventually directs you to a phone number that you have to call into. It is just a cut rate service.

      HORRIBLE. I had a claim back in June due to a falling object and the communication was less than poor. The adjustor tried claiming she never spoke with me before.. even though I had texts from her through Safeco's system. Once I got her on the phone she then stated that the process was delayed due to me not sending documents...funny...you have never spoken to me but you requested documents? Which I did send her, 2 weeks prior to that conversation. But just like "Shes never talked to me before" she also "Never received my email". Which I went ahead and forwarded my original email with the attachments to prove the day I first sent it.Moving forward, Bad luck struck and my vehicle was stolen on 8/21. Minimal damage, but to get an accurate estimate has been equivalent to speaking with a toddler that only knows 3 words. Do yourself a favor and avoid this insurance at all costs.

      My basement flooded. The drain in my basement overflowed and according to the claim representative I'm not covered. Says, I'd be covered if it was a pipe, toilet overflow, sink overflow then I'd be covered. But if it's outside water (which it was not) I wouldn't be covered. Now, I'm afraid that if I get into and accident with my car they'll find a way not to cover me. I don't trust this company. It's true what I've been told all my life, insurance companies are frauds. We pay them for nothing. Something tells me, I'm not covered no matter what my policy says. CANCEL Liberty Mutual. They are not a good company.

      My Mom recently passed and LM wont tell me if the policy is still in force. They say I have to file a claim and then they will tell me. There is no claim to file- just trying to figure out if it is ok to drive the car before we sell it. Policy is paid up. Horrible customer service

      Is there an option to do zero stars. A few months ago we had a hail storm in our area and it cause significant damage to the house. We have paid our premiums on time for 15 years and this is the first home claim we have had to make so much to our disgust when they refused to adequately pay it out we were completely take aback. They gave us **** to fix the largest exposed side of our house including siding flashing, gutters and refuse to fix the roof. Our neighbors have been making progress and have had their work already completed including roof and we are just here arguing with these guys. Dealing with the agents/adjusters - we've been hung up on twice, talked down to, not responded to at all. We are beside ourselves and every neighbor who is working with liberty mutual is dealing with the same run around. heading into winter and worried now about additional damage because they won't adequately fix the problem

      If I could leave negative stars I definitely would. Worst company I have ever experienced. It took nearly 6 months to get a claim resolved. I was rear-ended by one of their policy holders and assigned an adjustor who never once returned my calls, answered her phone and barely replied to emails. I had to reach out to her manger to get a check sent to the body shop. I was then assigned an adjutor for the demished value of the car which dropped a tremendous amount considering the whole rear of the car was damaged. He never once answered his phone, never once returned a call and it took weeks at a time to get him to respond to an email. I had the threaten to call my attorney just to get him to respond. Of course they low balled me on the claim. If you are considering using this company I would advise not to and if you are ever involved in an accident and they are the policy older of the other driver then claim it on your insurance and let them deal with it. Worst company ever!!!!
