This firm steals people's hard earned money. Mr. ************ is a thief, he is one of the representatives at Converse and l still haven't received my refunds yet from them even do the items were paid for. I never received it. Very BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE.Initial Complaint

To Whom It May Concern,I am filing a formal complaint against Converse ************* regarding the refund for items I purchased on 10/24, with a total cost of $131, and returned on 11/24. Despite multiple attempts to address this matter, I have not received the refund, nor have I been provided with any updates on the resolution. Most recently, on 8/2, I was informed that the refund may have been sent on 7/23, but it was not received. Additionally, upon my request for corporate office contact information, I was informed that it could not be provided.I believe I may be entitled to additional compensation under California Civil Code Section 1723, given the lack of resolution seven months after the return. I placed an order last month and found out my daughter needed a bigger size. My order was shipped in two different boxes so I reached out to them asking for another return label they told me I did not need another and it could be printed twice. Turns out that was not the case and I ended up having to pay out of pocket. Fast forward I keep asking my return and keep getting the run around. Finally today I got an answer which I attached below but they will not honor the price I paid or honor my exchange for a price match when they dropped the ball. Also as you can see below I was never issued an email or my money back until I once again reached out. Not only did they try to steal my money but they cannot price match another pair for my Daughter? she was so excited and I cannot afford more expensive. As a big name company I am very disappointed in the customer service and them trying to steal. The fact they are so worried about taking money they would break little girls heart. All I asked for is a price match or help in someway. I would contact corporate but I was told they do not have any.Customer Answer

I made a purchase like the first week of July early July in the June for some two pairs of shoes when I got the shoes they didn't affect me correctly so I contacted them immediately when I first got the second payoff and asked him cuz I send them back they said yes once they got them back they would give me all my money back but yeah I looked it up track the order they got the shoes back both passed July the 12th and they still have not credited me my money back yet basically they got the merchandise and they will not credit Mom okay and they got those shoes as well I would like to be fully refunded ASAPCustomer Answer

I ordered 2 pairs of Converse shoes last December 2023. I received the order as normal, however the Jack ****** pair right shoe, has a tongue that is about ready to tear off. I contacted Converse who had me fill out a form, and Converse gave me a reference number ******** To use when referencing the shoe. I also sent pictures. Below is their reply :Hello *******************, Thank you for contacting Convesre.com. Upon reviewing your request, we are unable to accept your claim as the issue doesn't qualify as a manufacturing defect/flaw or shipping blemish. The definition for each defect is listed below. A manufacturing flaw- is a flaw that will affect the performance of the product for its' intended purpose, such as delaminated outsole or severely crooked/looped, misaligned stitching or seams. What I dont understand is how this does not qualify as a manufacturing flaw. Ive had the shoes for about six months and one tongue is about to completely tear out of the shoe? This makes no sense to me. If you look at the cleanliness of the shoe, its a white shoe, you can tell its been taken care of just look at how white the shoe is. All I want is a simple replacement same size 12 same shoe ******************* parcels.Customer Answer

I have returned merchandise online at Converse.com and in processing my returns they have failed to award gift card credit(s) to me for the merchandise that has been returned. I returned a pair of shoes in May ********************************************************************************************* via email; however, to this day I have not received my gift card credit for ***** and *****.There have been other returns that have been processed but the gift card credits take weeks and are not done immediately when the return is processed. I bought these shoes September 22, 2022 from ********* shoes. Converse will not refund me my purchase. There is a major defect in the shoes. I have only worn these shoes to the gym for about an hour every day and the shoes have completely fell apart. Rack room and converse have refused to refund me even though the shoes are defective, I received a response from them in 2023 stating they will not refund me although I had proof of the defects.Customer Answer

I had bought a pair of shoes from the company on March 19th, 2024. The order on my end NEVER showed up with a working tracking number, perhaps at the fault of **** It was then marked as delivered on March 22nd, 2024, but no package arrived at my house and nothing was delivered to me. In fact, this was way before the estimated shipping date, so I was not even available to sign for my package or receive it in person. I stayed on customer support chat for almost an hour on March 23rd, and had no success in resolving the issue. I was hoping for a cancellation and refund as my product did not arrive at all, however the agent offered no help, simply stating I had to wait until Monday. This was not helpful at all. I was planning on making a re-order to attempt again, but the product is out of stock and it seems I cannot trust Converse's customer support team. I have instances of postal workers walking off with my packages after marking it as delivered, and I'm disappointed that this instance might have occurred again and that Converse has not helped me in resolving this issue.
