      They drained at least 300 USD from my card, promised refund but they never did. I sent many messages one time they say we issued refund next time they say qe will contact you in 24 hours and then they are just not responding at all

      Definitely a front for something. I had never heard of this company before but noticed two large back-to-back transactions to this company on my CC - $610 and $250. So, I scrolled to see if they had fraudulently charged me before and found another from a week prior that didn't get noticed for $9.30 - clearly a test to see if it went through before sending the big ones.I suggest that NO ONE do business with this fraudulent company. You can see from the other comments how bad they are to actual customers, and they also steal CC numbers so they can rip off unsuspecting folks.

      Very bad experience. I already filed a complaint with FTC.As others have pointed out, they have this deceptive system advertised as auto-refills, which, in reality, is a subscription system that charges you at a much faster pace than your lessons. We had weekly 1-hour lessons with a tutor for three months (12 weeks) and ended up prepaying for 17 more hours! And then the toto conveniently canceled all the upcoming classes at an hour's notice because she felt she needed a long summer vacation!Also, they claim you can book trial lessons. I booked trial lessons with three tutors and didn't even have the lessons with them because in the chat before the first session, the tutor was like oh I don't teach to young kids or I don't do this and that. So we didn't even have the trial lessons and, guess what, we were charged for them!In short, you are pre-charged for any tutor you have an interaction with, and then it's up to you to email them and ask for the transfer of funds to other tutors. They have a sleek app, but it conveniently lacks an option for transferring prepaid credits to other tutors. They're based in the US, and I don't really understand how they can get away with this type of fraud.

      Terrible platform. They force you into a subscription and pull money from your account even when you havent used all of your sessions. I canceled my subscription. They still have 200 dollars of mine, but if I dont use it for the tutoring sessions by the end of the month I lose my money. I will never use them again.

      Horrible Experience! When I realized that I was having issues with the tutor I immediately asked for a refund and I was given this weird policy they have that they pay the tutors even if the tutors do not show up. They took close to $80 out of my account and only wanted to refund $5.30. With this company, they only care about paying the business and paying the tutors without providing quality tutoring service. For anyone out there who looking for tutoring please find another place and run for your life in a different direction not look for tutoring services from this company

      Horrible **************** I requested refund and did not hear from them for weeks. When I finally heard back from them, they say too bad request expired. Of course it wasn't past the expiration date when I asked for refund. There is no phone number where you can talk to a real person.They are thieves. Run, do not use them!

      Their subscription model is very inconvenient and deceptive. I had to pay for 3 trial lessons as we had issues with tutors, when they claim I can get the second trial one for free.The customer service is a mess - 4 people answered me in turns, and none of them even understood the issue or made effort to solve it.

      This company is a scam. I asked for a refund because my tutor took my credits even when I unsubcribed from my tutor and I didn't get a refund. They create a system that is set up to milk you of your money. DO NOT use this company.

      Preply is a scam. When you buy hours in 8 hour blocks, you can only apply them to one specific tutor. You would have to transfer the balance to another tutor. If you need help and your tutor isn't available, you're either: stuck, or, can try to keep switching the balance around?Complete scam.

      Preply does asks their user to buy blocks of lessons inorder to have a smooth learning sessions with the tutors and to avoid recurrent bank charge or exchange charges. We also allow users to transfer to the tutors of their choice and offer free replacements and if neither work out, we offer refund if the user meets the conditions of the platform.

      Beware of doing business with this company, they provide a deceptively worded refund policy where they state they have sole discretion in regards to refund with no time limit, however if you bring up issues such as the app not working, video and audio being terrible, and the product unusable their agents will tell you to transfer your credits to another tutor. Then after 90 days they tell you your "subscription" is unrefundable but you can again transfer credits to another tutor. In my case it was not a subscription but I had purchased a fixed amount of hours in a one time purchase. Also please beware their customer service agents can be incredibly rude and insulting, and will stop even acknowledging what you are saying and simply repetitively telling you to "read what I already wrote". They will also claim they "escalated it" but provide no proof or information that they did. I would never ever do business with a company again with this type of shady tactics, rude support, horrible and faulty service. I am far from alone with this issues, please read their reviews many customers outline the same exact issue I have stated.
