      I gave **** a 50% deposit to complete a job that he supposed to complete in a week, he didn't do the job at all and now he is not answering the calls. My client file a police report to get the money back.

      I hired **** to install new granite for my kitchen counters and island. He requested a 50% deposit after taking measurements, which I paid. He seemed reliable and agreed to complete the job within a week. I even visited his fabrication shop and met his family. I later provided him with my sink for the granite cut-out, and everything seemed fine at that point.However, after that, he stopped responding to my calls. I reached out to his wife, who also runs the business, but she only offered false promises about scheduling the job. I discovered from the stone warehouse that he hadnt even picked up the material yet. When I visited his shop, I learned from his landlord that he often works with remnants to undercut prices and maximize profits.I believe this is a scam. *** filed a police complaint to get my deposit back. I want to warn others about this experience so they can avoid similar issues.
