    We reached out to HR Quality Painting to start a staining project on our back and side decks. ******************************* (owner) began the work in May of 2023. On the first day of staining, ****** used a faulty paint sprayer on our back deck. He did not realize at the time that stain droplets from the sprayer were being picked up and carried by the wind causing them to pepper the side of our house including the vinyl siding, gutters, trim, sliding glass door, and black chain link fence. Droplets also made their way onto our white car. We reached out to him to clean the stain off of our property and to request that he no longer use a paint sprayer to stain our decks. He stated he would be there on May 30 to clean the stain off of the car and our property and that he would no longer use the sprayer. Due to an illness, ****** could not return to our property until June 6. By June 6, we had already taken the car to a detailer to remove the stains. It took nearly 6 hours for the detailers to successfully remove them without scratching or chipping the cars paint. After removing the stain from the vehicle's paint, the detailer stated that if we had waited longer we would have risked needing a new paint job, likely costing more than $5,000. At no point did ****** ask us to get the car out of the garage to clean the stain off in his future visits. ****** attempted to remove some of the stain off of a small portion of the vinyl siding on our home. The product Helder used wiped the finish off of the vinyl siding, leaving the siding faded and damaged. ****** did not attempt to notify either of us about the damage that was caused to the siding at any point. He also never attempted to clean the stain off of any other area of the house previously mentioned. ****** used the sprayer again in late June, potentially causing additional damage to our property. Overall, ****** caused almost $2,000 of damage to our property.
