Went to Country Nissan on 7/6/2023 with my dad in hopes to buy out the lease on my 2020 Rogue. Your salesman Brandon did everything in his power to convince me that wasnt ideal. The gave me a car of the same year, with way less features than my other car, and my payments were only $50 less than my lease. According General Salesman Robbie, I didnt fight it. No I didnt fight it, but I did question why the monthly payment was still so high, and I clearly wasnt happy. I was told to come back the next day after the registration was done. I was called at 4pm telling me to come Monday because it hadnt gone through. I left early from my job in *********** to get there on time, only to sit there for 45 minutes and to be told that the registration was never done. Finally, a week after the purchase of the car it was delivered to me at my work. I got inside my new car, and noticed almost immediately there was a crack in the windshield. Which was NOT there when I test drove the car, which I have my father as a second witness to attest to that. I called and spoke with Brandon who sold me my car, and informed him of this. He replies to me oh I know. Like it was not a big deal whatsoever. He then told me that in the state of Massachusetts, a crack less than two inches is inspectable and that it was ok and to claim it on my insurance. No, it is absolutely NOT ok to deliver a new to me car with a crack in the windshield that happened when it was in the DEALERSHIPS possession. I was also told by Robbie that you cannot buy out a lease in the state of Massachusetts which is a complete lie. So after I decided to just keep my new car, I wanted Country Nissan to be responsible to fix my windshield. It took them days, and me calling numerous time for them to get it together with ******** to order the glass for it.

Dear *****,We understand your frustration regarding the purchase of your leased car and the delay in processing the paperwork. When you bought the vehicle, we did inform you that it could take up to 10 business days to complete the transaction due to the necessity of waiting for your title to arrive and re-register the car, as required by the ******** because Nissan owned the vehicle initially.During the purchase process, we provided you and your father with a detailed explanation of the situation and the recommended solution, which involved purchasing a different car to avoid waiting for the title to re-register your current vehicle. ******, our General Manager, even spoke to your aunt and offered an additional $2,000 over the trade-in value for your car, allowing you to lease back your Rogue at cost. We also took care of the necessary repairs, including tires and brakes, to pass the Mass Inspection, and certified the vehicle with a warranty lasting 7 years/100,000 miles from the date of service. We understand that the car was delivered with a cracked windshield, and we promptly took action to resolve the issue. ****** arranged an appointment with Safelite for the windshield repair, but upon your request, we provided you with a loaner car and brought your vehicle back to the store for repair to accommodate your schedule. Unfortunately, Safelite initially sent the wrong windshield, leading to a delay in the replacement process. However, rather than just filling the crack as advised by Safelite, we opted to replace the entire windshield for you, free of charge. We apologize for any inconvenience and frustration caused by this situation. As a dealer in the state of *************, we followed the laws and regulations that dealerships are to uphold when it comes to lease returns and titles. If there's anything else we can do to improve your experience or address any remaining concerns, please don't hesitate to let us know. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we're committed to making things right.
