      On 3/31 I called ******* to order fuel oil after learning a had 187 gal remaining on my fuel assistance I ordered the 187 gal with explicit instructions NOT to deliver any more than 187. On 4/2 they did deliver *****, however they also delivered 28.4 gal which I did not order. Upon seeing the delivery receipts I called and told them about the error. I told them I didn't order it and I don't want it come pump it out. they said they can't do that but they will work with me and put me on hold. When the woman returned she apologized for the mistake and offered to discount it by 10 cents per gal of which 5 cent was because in over 62 (this was the first time I had every heard of any discount for being over 62 years) which infuriated me! for the past two years since ******* bought out ********** why wasn't I informed about a discount? I abruptly hung up. On 4/3 I called back telling them immediately I was furious, and was transferred to a "manager" I explained that I should not be responsible and for their mistake and she insisted it wasn't intentional and that did discount the delivery 10 cents per gal. I told her it isn't the amount of money, it is the principal, they made the mistake and expect the customer to pay for it. She repletely said it wasn't intentional and I kept say I shouldn't be held liable for their error. Completely furious i asked for a copy of the recording of the call where I placed the order on 3/31. She told me that would not do that. At this point I told her DO NOT DISTORY that recording because I will have a magistrate order it under Exculpatory Evidence. at which point she became irate saying "you would actually hire an attorney over less than $100! I told her I didn't an attorney and it isn't the amount IT IS THE PRINCIPAL, and she said that she would close my account and hung up. Within MA it clearly states that I receive something that I did not order that I am not liable to pay for it and to consider it a gift

      ********* has locked out my propane tank for what they claim is non-payment, and is charging $159 to unlock the tank. By locking the tank, while still approx 40% full, I no longer have the ability to use my kitchen stove or run hot water in the house. In recent months, ********* acquired my previous oil company, ******** Oil. I have not conducted business yet with *********. Under ********, I would order oil or propane, receive an invoice, and make sure to pay by the time I needed to reorder. And that was the plan for this current propane order that I have. Once I dropped down to about 20%, I would call to pay my outstanding balance and put a new order in. Instead, apparently ********* has a different policy and I was late with making my payment. Such the case, they decided to lock my propane tank and add $159 to my bill. I refuse to pay that $159.I have reached out to the company in their ***************** via a contact form online two times and a phone call once. During the phone call, a customer service agent by the name of ******************* up on me. And it was a civil conversation until the disconnect. I was never informed of the changes in how they conduct business after acquiring ********. The $159 fee to unlock the propane tank is deceptive.

      I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. At this point, they did arrive to disconnect my propane tank which left me without hot water or a working kitchen stove. But the tank is just sitting in my yard at approximately 40% full. If they do come and take it, I would expect them to provide me a new invoice that is less 40% because they're taking the propane back... And the $190 unlock fee removed. But I have not heard from them at all to this point so we'll see.

      The gift card issue was not activated properly. The Company continues to say they can't help call corporate yet they issued the gift card. The gift card was returned to me from the now widow! They will not help!

      We have used Hafners for 15 plus years for oil and annual maintenance. The last time they cleaned the furnace we started getting a buildup of black soot all over our basement. I called twice because a simple internet search indicates the incorrect nozzle size which is part of the maintenance service would produce black soot. They kept telling me its ****** for a service call to come out. I repeatedly explained their service crew may be at fault but that made no difference. I spoke with the service mgr who was clearly NOT interested in considering they may be at fault. I requested to speak with the general mgr., I was put on extended hold and then place into and unidentified VM box. I called back and asked for ******************* CEO and was placed into him VM that was full and not accepting messages?This company doesnt stand by their work> I will call another company to clean and service the problem and file if ********* installed the wrong size nozzle
