WR Environmental services our septic system. We had an issue with the septic system and reported it on 11/24/23. *** responded on 11/27/23 and reported that there was a problem with the pump. They charged us $185 for the visit but did no repairs. They returned on 11/30/23 but now said the problem was not the float, not the pump and charged us $395. The septic problem was not resolved so they returned on 12/11/23 and said the pump was the problem, which was the same diagnosis as the visit on 11/27/23. They charged another $185 for the visit but did not do any repairs. They finally returned on 12/18/23 and did the pump repair which was the real issue. They charged $1,248 for the work and I paid the bill. I had to escalate to the customer ********************** team multiple times in December to get them to do the repairs. On 1/6/24 I had a call with ***** St **** in the *** customer ********************** group to discuss the fact that they mis repaired and misdiagnosed the issue and yet still charged us $580 dollars for that. I asked for a credit. ***** escalated the issue and provided a case number (********) and said I would be contacted with a resolution. *** never responded. On 2/27/24 we received a text from ******************************* saying we had a balance and would be sent to collections. I spoke to ******* and provided the case number and said we were waiting for the credit. I sent ******************************* and *** Rivera(Director of customer *********************** an email outlining the issues, time line, and the fact that *** had not followed up. I received no response. I just received a letter from a collections agency (*******************************) informing us it is in collections and asking for payment. I have contacted them and disputed the balance. I paid for the pump repair and will pay for one of the diagnosis visits, but not for the mis repair, which I have said to *** since the call on January 6, where they admitted there was a problem.

      - We used them in the past for septic tank pumping(s) when they were Parent Sanitization. Spoke with customer ********************** a week before service and alerted them they were charging us at residential rate vs commercial rate. They apologized and promised a credit of $50.- August 2023 (date of transaction/service) They pumped 2 different addresses and charged us wrong rate of residential servicing again, they did not give us the $50 credit as promised, they also charged us for ***** gallon tank at one of the properties which they never did before (they charged us for ***** gallon tank) and did not alert us to the extra charges for the ***** gallon pumping.- We have been pursuing credit since August 2023, we have spoken numerous times with customer ********************** assuring us that a manager would handle this. We were given a $***** credit which is not the amount owed back to us. Every time we call we are assured a manager will call us back in about a week or so and doesn't happen. We did finally receive a call last month from a manager who left a message and we tried calling back and left messages as well, but no response back.- Residential rate $0.35 / gal vs Commercial rate $0.26 / gal Address 1 charged $448.16 (residential) vs $260.00 (commercial) = $****** (overcharged)Address 2 charged $744.45 (residential) vs $547.00 (commercial) = $****** (overcharged)- In summary the total credit owed still is $359.45 ****** + ****** + ***** = $435.61 - ***** (credit given) = $359.45

We called our local septic company, ************************* Septic to schedule a pumping. Received a call back from Earthcare, which was strange since I had not originally called *************************. They explained they work with *************************, and can help us. Really, Earthcare bought them out. A pumping technician came out, serviced our septic and called with results and said that I should schedule a seek and discover to see if I need a jetting or further services. He explained it could be a bunch of different things and that would be a good way to move forward since he noticed there was water coming back into the tank. Later that day, I received a proposal for the excavator $1,080.00 and pumping $294.00 (that is with a $50.00 discount) the total cost was $1,374.12, after I just paid the $363.00 for the septic pumping that we do every 2 years. The proposal did state that the $344 (discounted to $294.) was for up to ***** gallons. Rates would increase if over *****. My tank is ***** gallons. Pumped 2 weeks before this scheduled service. Work scheduled for seek and discover, 2 weeks out. My husband had to take a day off of work for them to complete the job. Excavator came, at 9, left at 10:30 and technician came at 10:13, left at 10:25. They ripped up our back yard, did not back fill properly. Left a huge rock garden in our back yard with a giant mess to clean up (we have pictures of before and after). When questioned about this horrible work, we were told that when the ground thaws those rocks will settle back in! 60 large rocks are not going to settle when the ground thaws. I cant even believe that was a professional response. If the ground was too frozen to complete the job properly then Earthcare should of rescheduled the job due to not being able to perform it properly. Its hours of manual work and money by us to fix now. We were told that the fee for pumping was going to be $1,600.00, since they pumped ***** gallons, which seems very unrealistic. That is more than an above ground pool. I could not even fit one in my back yard if I tried. This company is saying that I have that underground?? Since the original proposal was $1,374.12, we figured $300.00 more was ok for the amount they say they pumped from the seepage tank. Again, charging the same price they charged 2 weeks before to pump again, and we pay that amount every 2 years Mind blowing! The invoice was charged for what we thought was the pumping and the excavator, like the proposal stated.. and then we received an additional charge for $1,147.56. Stating that was for the excavator. That is not what the proposal said and the invoice said that the customer was not on site to sign. That is FALSE. My husband was there the whole time. He in fact signed one invoice. When asked why he was not given this second invoice, that states customer not on site, the response we got from the company was the tablet was not sanitized so they did not have my husband sign it. Again, I could not of ever of received a more ridiculous, unprofessional response to something that seems very critical with such a large additional cost to something that is already way overpriced. My husband and I were under the impression that the job was $1,600.00 for the total job. If that tablet was shown at the time, then I feel that that extra charge could of have been taken care at the time of the work being completed. We were taken advantage of and money was stolen from us. The communication was that the work was going to be $1,600.00, not an additional $1,147.56. We feel that we were robbed by this company. And when we reached out for some explanation and a possible refund of their wrong doings, hours of yard work they left us after reassuring that it would not be left like that, we got a response of basically, there is nothing we can do. No effort put forth on their end. We would like to have that extra charge refunded, as we did not agree to that charge, and the mess they left is time and money out of our pockets now. That is not how you do business.

To whom it may concern,On June 16, 2023 we had our septic pumped by wind river environmental, originally called **************** at the time. After the service, the worker knocked on our door and told us that our lid was not safe and we should get a new one. This came as a surprise because our lid was perfectly fine. When we went out to check it after he left, we noticed that he screwed on the lid completely warped. So we contacted the manager immediately. She told us someone would be out as soon as possible to fix this, but no one ever came. We made several calls, no one still ever came and we were completely ignored. We have five young children all under the age of five so this was very scary as the kids play outside regularly. It came to the point that we had to reach out to a separate company to fix our lid. This is why we did not pay this charge of $380. We also had made verbal and written statements to Heritage/wind river environmental stating all of this information and made it clear that we will not be paying this. We are writing this because they have now sent our charge to a debt collector in the amount of $380. We have disputed it with the debt collector and are waiting to hear back. But we also wanted to report this with you guys.Thank you

We apologize you feel the charges were invalid. Upon further review with our operations, we believe the charges to be valid as discussed on a message from the branch manager on January 19th stating Wind River was expecting to be paid for the service call because our employee did spend over an hour to access and evaluate the tank in order to provide recommendations to replace the risers and move the water lines blocking access to servicing the tank.

I cancelled a service to pump my septic. I cancelled because when my power came back on the water went down on its on. I cancelled at approximately 9:15am 12/19/23, I spoke with ****. the morning of appt. My septic company came at 12 pm and serviced. This is the time the pumping service was to take place. Service cannot be done if septic is not empty. I received a text about an hour and a half later saying a tech was on his way. I called again to make sure not to send anyone and that I canceled in the morning. The woman that answered phone she would tell her supervisor to contact dispatch not to send them. I later get billed. I called and they said they came after 2pm and provided the service. I tried to tell them that the septic was empty and there was nothing to pump. Their # is **********. It was difficult to find there actual address on their site. I live in ********************* **. They also use EarthCare as a business name.Pics below is the morning I cancelled.i have them time stamped on my phone, if it does not show on pic. And my septic service bill is also attached, that would not have been abled to be performed if septic was not empty.

      Business Response

      Date: 12/27/2023

      Hi ***************,

I want to offer my sincere apology for the confusion you have brought to our attention with your recent service. We do show your service was canceled, but due to delays in our systems the work order wasnt removed from the technicians tablet.  Because the service was still on his tablet, he went in error and did service your system, but we will credit the entire cost of the service.  Please accept this complimentary service as our gesture for your loyalty as a customer of ours and as an offer for the issues you experienced.

If you would like, please review the pictures showing the service was complete.  As you know, it is our normal process to take pictures of the service at given intervals for your post service report.  The branch manager has reviewed the order in our order management system, and the technician and the photos are there showing the tank was pumped down, filter was pulled and cleaned.  He also reviewed the data we use to track our fleet of vehicles which also shows ************** was on-site at 2:30pm-both, time, date, stamped and geo coded.  Finally, the branch manager reviewed the previous service photos as well and the landscape and back drop appear to be the same location, leading us to believe the photos are of the service provided to the same property on previous work orders for your home.

Again, our sincere apology for the whole ordeal, and the fact that our techs have tablets and the ** just never came off his tablet causing him to go to your home in error.  I have attached the pics showing it was done and we have issued a credit of the charges to resolve this for you.

      Sincerely,

      Wind River Environmental

I had an emergency issue with my septic. I called very early Sunday morning 11/12 to get assistance. They were supposed to come out that same day, Sunday, to fix our septic. They did not come out on Sunday and showed up on Monday instead. They noted that our pump was broken but did not fix it. They emptied **** gallons from the septic tank (that likely didn't need done - and they emptied the smaller tank rather than the larger one), ignored the broken pump, and left. In fact, they even charged me for the Sunday service although it was Monday.I spent the week trying to call Wind River to fix our pump. They never did come out and fix it for us. I paid them thousands of dollars for literally nothing. I had to pay someone else to come to the job correctly. In the meantime, one of the representatives on the phone sold me "treatment chemicals". Obviously, also during this time, I canceled this order for "treatment chemicals".I NEVER RECEIVED THE TREATMENT CHEMICALS.Yet, Wind River continues to charge me $128.09 for the treatment chemical I never received and do not want.

      Hello *****,

It is our intent to always perform every service to meet the needs of our customer. I researched the **********************, and we did refund the emergency service fee back to your credit card due to the delay in service until Monday, and we have also canceled and refunded the $128 for the additives that were requested on the order.  All of these refunds were handled immediately to your ccard ending in ****, following your call notifying us of these issues on 11/16/2023.  I am not sure there is anything else that we have outstanding to resolve for you at this point, but I do want to offer my sincere apology for whatever miscommunication led to this issue.  Please feel free to call if you have any further concerns.

Please read the original complaint more closely.  Your answer is not accurate and the $128.09 charge was NOT refunded as it was never charged in the first place.

The problem is that you still have it showing as "owed" on my account - for something I don't want and never received.  That is, your billing department has been calling, emailing, and writing me letters to send you the $128.09 - for something I don't want and never received.

I did spend more time trying your central number this week to get resolution.  And, it may have finally been resolved due to my efforts.  I did receive a call from your office yesterday and they left a message that they have now removed this charge from my account.  I trust that the account balance is now $0.

Please confirm that my account balance is ZERO.

      Hello *****,

I want to be clear, when we refund anything - that means that we take the charge off your amount due.  I think you are asking for what we did, and we show you have no charges due for the $128.  I believe it is just a choice of words we used in the response, but we have taken off the entire order (product and charges) from your work order.  I am confirming your balance is $0.

On October 17, 2023 I received an email from *********************** at Wind River Environmental stating that a septic inspection would cost $525 for the first hour and $165 for each additional hour. On October 19, ******************* inspected my septic system. He was here for about 30 minutes. On October 24 I received an email invoice for $690. The invoice incorrectly stated that **** was here from 3:22 until 4:54. **** seemed like a nice guy and I assumed that this was a typo. I called the number on the invoice and was told that I would receive a corrected invoice. I received another invoice, this time without the details about how ***************** was here, but still showing an amount due of $690. On November 2 I sent payment for the correct amount due ($525) along with a letter explaining their billing error. I continue to receive invoices for $165. I would like the invoices to stop because I don't owe them anything.

      Hello ****,

I wanted to let you know that I have researched the issue in our records and the time allocated for the inspection was difficult to validate because the travel time was also mixed in with the inspection time.  That being said, I would much rather keep your business and for that reason I have issued a credit for that amount to eliminate the overage.  Thank you for bringing this to our attention and allowing me to make this right by you.

      Sincerely,

      *******************

Company was called to evaluate a hole in the backyard. Brownie Septic said the call would be $160 and if I fixed the problem with them the $160 would be credited toward the total cost of work. Person came out 11/17/23 and evaluated. Could not fix at the time since it was raining. He returned 11/20/23 and completed work. Credit card was used to initial call cost then the credit card was used to pay for the fix. There is nowhere on the invoice that the $160 was credited toward total. Called company and they said because it was 2 separate trips they would not credit even though they had said call cost would be applied to work.

      Hello ****************,

We have researched your complaint and sincerely apologize for the confusion.  We do normally charge for each trip out to a customer's home, but will be happy to refund the $160 to your credit card as we do not show that was explained when we left your property the first time with a portion of the work completed.  We believe this is fair for you as a customer of ours and always do our best to be fair in all our interactions with our customers.  Please reach out in the future should you need us again, and we sincerely apologize for the issue and confusion.

      Thank you,

I needed my septic emptied. I called was given a quote and told they'd do price matching.I got a few other quotes, one $379 to empty 2 thousand gallon tank. I called klines back, after 2 calls I was told they agreed to price match. Scheduled visit last Monday. Took a bit more than 2 thousand so figured thered be some extra fee and told I'd be called about additional charge and be billed.3 days later I'm charged almost $1000, no calls, no emails other than the 'receipt'. I immediately called, told they'd review and call me back in ***** hrs. No call. I called last Friday, given excuses. Called today given excuses and associates promised callback wkth something, even if just still under investigation. Keep being told they are investigating. The last I was told is they pulled phone calls and are waiting for reply from the local people? No calls back. In meantime they've over extended my bank account and I'm in negative balance alst $600.

      Hello *****************,

Our Branch Manager has called the number on file and left messages as well as his assistant manager, but those messages have all agreed that there was an error on our part and we have refunded the $561.74 that was charged in error.  We have also done that to meet the price match for the pumping service that you found and were approved for on November 1st.  The refund was processed on 11/13/2023 and went back on the card ending in 1331.  We do apologize for the error and would appreciate the ability to update your telephone number if you never received any of these calls or messages.  Please accept our sincere apology and call as soon as possible to ensure the telephone number we have on file is correct.

      Respectfully
