      I contacted this company after my plumber recommended them to snake my main sewer line in the basement of my home. I spoke to one of their customer ********************** ***** and was told that $249.99 covered 1hr of work. There would be an additional charge for any work conducted over the initial hour and for any equipment that maybe needed. After conforming this information, I agree to the charge and scheduled an appointment on 6/13/25. When the tech came out, he looked at the issue and stated that my main sewer line needed to be snaked for an additional fee that was over $400.00 dollars. I advised him that I was not told this when I called to schedule the appointment and that I would call to get this resolved. The first serv. **** put in a ticket with the issue. The tech advised me that he spoke to his supv. and if I was not willing to pay the additional fee he would not be able to complete the work. I asked to speak to his supv. *** and was told that he(supv.) didn't see a ticket from my call and he would not talk with me. The tech. left my home without completing any work, but they charged me $249.99.I had to call several times from 6/13/25-6/26/25 and speak to several **** I was advised that the sewer drain manager and then the general manager would call me to resolved this, but they never called me. On 6/26/25 I was advised that they realized that I was misinformed and I will be receiving a refund for $249.99 in 2weeks. All the customer ********************** **** that I spoke to were professional and very helpful in trying to get this issue resolved. The ball dropped with the supv. *** ********* and the general manager not addressing the issue. I nor even customer should not have to call a company over eight times before an issue was finally addressed by management and resolved. That is Not the way any company should be conducted business. Due to this, I do Not recommend this company and will submit another review once I receive my refund.

The discrepancy between the initial quote provided and the on-site assessment should have been clearly explained during your initial call, and the lack of follow-through from management was inexcusable.

      The failure of supervisory staff to properly address your concerns on-site
      The unacceptable delay in management response despite multiple customer calls
      Charging for ******************** that were not completed due to our internal communication failures

      We want to confirm that your $249.99 refund has been processed as promised. If you have not received it within the stated timeframe, please contact our office immediately so we can expedite the process.
      Your feedback has prompted immediate action on our part. We are reviewing our call center procedures to ensure pricing transparency, retraining supervisory staff on customer escalation protocols, and implementing new management response procedures to prevent similar situations.

      After 8 EIGHT years and 4 pump outs with this company where the price climbs with every year but my septics the same. I am told 4 weeks ago at 7am that my hole I had dug out and have been digging out each year wasn't the only hole. That in fact I have 2. One 4 feet away and it was for the filter. Never in all my years and homes have I ever been told about it. News to me. But the way the *** said was "WELL I'M TELLIN YA NOW!". 4 WEEKS later my light goes red ****** panel and alarm is screaming. First time ever. Had someone out to tell us the floats were damaged and had to be replaced. $800 More!!! 1100 for a septic! Oh and the hole that this problem arose in? The brand new reveal hole I never ever touched and wind river never ever touched until last month! Quite a coincidence?! They just lost another client. Rude Expensive Nasty Ridiculous Business they're running. I'll make sure everyone knows about this other than the bbb.

      Complete Incompetence. They needed to replace the septic pump. They wired it to the wrong voltage and had the pump running with the floats in the down position. They then had to pump it out twice before they could figure out what was wrong. After the second pumping, I hired a different company. They figured it out right away. They then refused to reimburse me for the two pumpings that happened because of their mess up.

      I had my septic tank pumped out two weeks ago. **** was my customer guy who pumped out my tank and was very professional and hard worker.I had a concern and ****** from the Customer ********************** team rectified it immediately. I would strongly recommend using this company for your future needs.

      Wind River environmental evoid this supposedly Not ???? do not use it, they only are interesting for money but not interested in proving a good service, they replace my septic pump 4 times, the first pump was installed for a different company in 2013 they make a replace the whole system including alarm and pump required for Lee county, after that the hurricane 2017 not power so the pump damage I call this guy's , in hurricane 2022 they replace again and asked to replace the filter tank cover now 2024 the alarm did not sound,I see water overflow on my front yard so call them and replace the pump again on each time they charge me $1500 , I was not in the house when they came, that's why I have never been seen and washed How they work but the last couple times I was in my house and washed, they cut the wire and use the wire nuts to connect the new pump to old wire and live in the tank, strip wire in the water tank?, not safe training of all, he mad at me because I asked for screws for the tank cover he was leaving without screws, he draw the shovel said ***** ****** while walk to his truck, I asked why the alarm is not sound when the tank is overflowing he said missed the flow switch, who's missed it?.

      Junior did a great job for us today. He told us everything he was doing and was quick and efficient. Only paid for his time since our pump was still working.

      Our sewer line was completely clogged, flooding our basement. We were unable to use water for days. We were told by a plumber that our line was full of roots and needed to be torn out and replaced at a cost of almost 10 grand. We have a special needs son and we were desperate for help. We were about to pay it when my wife passed by a Wind River van on the highway. We contacted them and they were here in less than a day. Our service rep *** was awesome! Very professional and reassuring. He explained to my wife and I every step of the way what he was doing and how long it would take. He had specialized equipment with him and was able to locate a long buried trap in our yard, completely blocked. He cleared it out and restored our service. I lived in that house for 10 years and didnt even know it was there! *** went above and beyond diagnosing and fixing my very old and complicated system and saved us thousands! I cant recommend Wind River enough, if I could give more stars I would. If you are on the fence, dont hesitate to call them.

      I had a local septic company that provided excellent customer ********************** and rates UNTIL, Wind River bought them out. I should have switched to a smaller, local company immediately but hindsight is 20/20. I called Wind River recently because I had a septic smell in my house. I was asked if my toilets were flushing and if drains were draining, I told them they were. I was told by the customer ********************** rep that I would need a ****** which would check and clean out the lines and that would be $655. Ouch but Ok fine, it seems comprehensive and I need this smell to go away. Well, the technician came and flushed the toilets and that determined I dont need a ******. If thats what determines we dont need a ****** then Im not sure why I was told I needed one. We do have an ejection pump in the basement and he thought maybe it was the gasket needing to be replaced but thats not something he does. He did put some silicone around it and a small amount of Odor Ban down. He was at my home for 30 minutes. I inquired about the price and he called his manager and then told me it was still $655, thats standard to have him come out no matter what was done. I was not going to fight with the technician because he doesnt do the pricing and they have my credit card on file anyway. I did email the manager immediately after explaining I had agreed to the price of $655 because I thought I was having a comprehensive check and cleaning of my septic system. My septic system was never looked at. He replied to my email with a condescending email telling me I was told the price by his customer ********************** rep and that they cant diagnose the problem over the phone. They have a drop down menu that they plug symptoms into and pick a solution. He said this system was sometimes problematic but yields a high success rate. Clearly this time it was problematic but apparently that does not matter. So, basically I paid $655 for silicone, odor ban and 30 minutes which didnt solve my problem.

      We purchased our house in ************ in 2019 and the prior owner had been using Franc Environmental for septic services. Wind River acquired Franc and we have found the service awful. In July 2024 the Wind River service technician did not properly set up the pumping equipment used to drain our grey water tank/grease trap resulting in grease spraying all over our driveway. The technician did not alert us to this issue instead without permission used our hose and sprayed the grease all over our brand new driveway. Wind River contracted a power washing company to try to remove the grease but that attempt made our driveway even worse. I was given a quote from the driveway contractor who refinished our driveway to reseal it. *********************************** a sales manager from Wind River told me after some back and forth that Wind River would waive the service charge for the septic pumping as well as cover the cost of having the driveway resealed. On 31 July my credit card was charged the full cost of the septic service. I was mailed a check just to cover the cost to have the driveway resealed. When I emailed ******* 31 July his response is that he did not agree to waive the pumping fee and cover the cost of the resealing. We never had any issues when Franc Environmental provided septic services. Ever since Wind River acquired Franc, not only has the cost to pump our tanks increased significantly, but the quality of the work is terrible.

      They utilize dishonest business practices by quoting one price and charging another and then refuse to call you back and discuss it. Highly do not recommend. Zero star review.
