      Terrible customer service. We made one appointment which they cancelled. We made another for this ************** now 12:50 and we're still waiting. The reason I'm complaining is that you cannot find out when the worker will come out. I was on hold for 15 minutes with dispatch & the prompt kept saying at least 10 more callers waiting. I then called customer service & was placed on hold for another 10 minutes. I hung up, called back & said I wanted to lodge a complaint. The rep said she couldn't pass on complaints--come on!--and passed me on to a supervisor who put me into voicemail. I would have been content to complain directly, but if they want to make that process difficult, then I'm happy to share my experience with BBB. Sincerely, -******************

      LACK OF INTEGRITY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...Had previously used this company when it was called ***** Septic. Wind River has taken over. I called them in December 2021 and asked them to come out and pump two 750 gallon tanks. I was out of state when they came so unsure if what they did. Called them again in June/July 2022 and explained that I was having same issue (water pooling in small area of yard off from one of the tanks), toilets gurgling, and slow draining tub. They said they'd come out and pump again. I asked why because there was obviously something wrong. They responded they had to start there. Here I am $1176.79 and approximately 8 months later and I don't know what's going on. My toilet has started gurgling again. I called them again on 08/11/22 to voice my frustration about them not evaluating/inspecting system instead of doing second pump in July. A manager called and never gave an direct answer. He proceeded to "explain" how septic systems work but was being vague. I told him one of my issues is neither customer service, representative or he had answered questions or explained system. He advised he'd have the guy that does inspections call me to schedule the inspection/evaluation. I haven't heard from them yet.I've been in contact with another company that advised they will inspect tanks (when full), will certify tanks, and give recommendation(s).

      They provided terrible service and were rude to my wife.The technician did a terrible job restoring the soil over the septic tank and when my wife pointed this out he blamed the rake. Also, I have called Wind River Environmental twice and both times was promised a manager would call back to discuss my concerns and that did not happen.Terrible company and would not recommend to clean out a mouse trap!

      I originally called Wind River to get a port-a-potty for a long weekend and then decided that I'd like to keep it for a month (they don't offer good short term rates). I called and left a message several business days in advance of the original pick up date asking to keep it for a month. No one called me back or responded in any way. They then came and picked up the unit after I only had it for four days. I got a **** for the whole month. When I questioned it, they offered me a very small discount (less than $15). I told them I wasn't satisfied with that considering I asked to have it for a month. They continued to send me bills without any resolution. In later emails, they said that I was being "ridiculous" and "childish". They gave me some song and dance about working 60 hour weeks so things must have gotten lost. I told them I understand that they may be understaffed and make mistakes but it isn't my responsibility to pay for it. Finally, they told me that they would never rent a unit to me again and would **** me as "bad debt." Along with the poor service, and high charge, the name-calling and poor customer relations were appalling.

      july 19, 2022- Review is for Wind River and work done on Cape Cod, *************.ZERO STARS!!!!! ZERO!I'm utterly disgusted by Wind River and will never return. They did a horrible job- left a huge mess of my lawn...like a break your leg type of hole.And they damaged my sprinkler system...like I've had to shut it off kind of damage because water was pouring out. Now my lawn is ***** and I have to get the damage they did repaired...at my own expense. There's NO way...no way.... the tech didn't know. Of course, not a word was said to me. Now it's like quicksand where they messed up.I rent the property out...thank God it was not rented that week and some little kid didn't get hurt playing on the lawn.It was by chance that my family and I were using it last week and it was only by chance that my dog escaped the house.... and while trying to catch her I went to that part of the yard and saw the water gurgling up.Of course, they absolved themselves of responsibility. Thier excuse: the tech has to probe for the septic system. Ya, I know, but I also paid hundreds just last year for them inspect the system, pump it and to install a riser and they should have known exactly what they were doing and where they were doing it.Anyhow...never, ever again. There's plenty of other places that will value even a nothing, small customer like me. And they'll also value the four friends and family members who also use them who I am going to do my best to ***** toward another company.
