    On 3-14 signed a contract with Superior Fence for $9,000.00, wanted half @ signing (then he added $281.25 said it was tax and he would eat the tax when balance of $4500.00 when project finished.4-10 Delivered materials for job, told him I did not like the pickets was supposed to be #1 Cedar which it wasn't (full of knots, cracks, holes gouges) he stated he would exchange the ones I did not like. Material for pickets was supposed to be dogear which they were not he would cut them to be dogear.4-11 Installed 30' of fence with the pickets he furnished.4-15 He came to get the pickets and return them for better ones. Called later that *** said he could not get that he was going to get different pickets and needed more money. Told him we had a signed contract and was not my problem, he did not like that and said he would be in touch. Left old fence at my home from another job, since he was taking my old fence away when he started to install the new fence.4-16 Texted him at 7:56 asked what his plans were, responded with trying to figure something out. 4-23 Texted him said it has been a week, what's going on, he responded I will know by *********** Texted me and said he was coming by on 4-29 to go over the job.4-29 He came and told me he needed an additional $3,000 to $4,000 to do the job. I told him no way we have a contract and was not paying that extra money. Left my dining room mad, I went with him outside, told him to take his tools, the fence from a previous job and the other materials left (2x4's), His response was the fence is on your property now, you own it, told him again to take his tools and materials and his response was you bought some tools and lumber your not getting ***** back and as he was driving away told me to go F**k myself, and that is how it ended.I have contacted the local police about this issue and when he initially took the pickets said there was nothing they could be, but for me not to keep his tools, tell him to take them.

    What I bought was 6" #1 cedar pickets I have receipts I brought everything installed for 3 days then he says doesn't want them so I try to get said to many knots in wood so me trying to satisfy a customer tried more all I could find is 1#4 instead of 6" so instead of 700 boards need 1300 1#4i told im willing to do the extra work meaning now double the nails plus double the time instaling that's all I told him he didn't even hear a word he  flipped said give me all my money I said I have no problem giving some of the money i brought number 1 here but he didn't like figured we could of came to something fair but I can't eat the work I've done that wasn't exceptle to him so he said he keeping my tools literally 3000 in tools I had to buy new tools this all was then he calls me and say I'll give 200 dollars I said you didn't hear anything I said I explained everything and showed him proof the he telling I only need 1100 boards they are only 3,5 inch wide not 4 he did the math thinking I was wrong

    Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as Answered. 

    I responded to the email sent on 5-9-24. Hopefully it went thru was not easy to navigate the page and respond. I attached a copy of the contract and the fence removal cost which I incurred by him leaving fence from another job he had finished when he needed room on the trailer to take the pickets back which he stated that the fence was on my property and take I owned it now.
