I have been a customer of Dunlops since I first moved into my home, about 2017 - and I always pay WHAT I CAN, WHEN I CAN, but since I am a totally, permanently disabled senior citizen living on ONLY SSDI BENEFITS - I cannot pay what they ask, and they have been getting 'on me' about my overdue balance. Since I cannot afford to move, or sell, I am stuck with them, and vice versa, they are stuck with me. I do get fuel assistance from the town, but since the prices of the propane have soared, my usual allotment has been depleted. I owe them money, I know that, and I pay them when I can but getting 'your bill is overdue and to get a delivery of propany, you must pay" IS RATHER UPSETTING. My propane usage is for HEAT, HOT WATER and since I am disabled, I need my HEAT & HOT WATER for my health & well being. I simply want them to UNDERSTAND I am doing ALL I CAN..

They probably won't accept my payment terms, which would be under $100 per month due to my financial situation. I can probably make $25 per month, which this business won't accept.

We see that you have made payments totaling $60.00 in the past 4 months (10/7/24 $25.00, 1/3/25 $10.00, 1/28/25 $25.00).  We have delivered $1,182.62 worth of propane in this time. Payments totaling $855.79 have been made by ************************************ (Fuel Assistance).  Part of your balance is the remainder from deliveries from last winter.  We understand that you are as disheartened with us as a company as we are with you as a customer.  We have made multiple attempts to contact you.  Please call the office so we can make payment and delivery arrangements.  Alternately, you can begin to make payments on your account.  We are trying to keep lines of communication open to avoid these issues.  You have not responded any time we have reached out.

I am totally and permanently disabled and unable to use THE PHONE - due to my aphasia - I get too anxious to speak with you over the phone. I have paid you every cent I have & the note on my paper bill stated 'TO CONTINUE DELIVERY, YOU MUST PAY THE BALANCE DUE" - do you realize that I need my heat for MY HEALTH? My health is my priority - and I need the propane for HEAT, COOKING MEALS, LAUNDRY & PERSONAL HYGIENE. that last paper bill really threw me for a loop. I have been a customer since I moved here about 2016 and have paid you when i can, what I can. With the cost of EVERYTHING rising - i am sure your cost will also increase but I am DOING THE BEST I CAN.. The American Disabled Act does not allow you to NOT PROVIDE me with heat, nor does the SENIOR CITIZEN bill. I don't mind if you send me just enough to keep the heat on - BTW - i have dropped my heat from 68 (last year's usual temp) down to 64 to decrease my propane usage.

I AM TRYING MY BEST BUT I ONLY GET SSDI BENEFITS - just be patient with me please

I keep getting this little 'notices' on my gas bill - "balance necessary for delivery or service" -which in my eyes, means if I cannot pay the entire bill - I will not receive any propane delivery. However, I am SSDI, receive fuel assistance, and even though I usually don't use a lot of propane in the summer - if they do cut me off - I will have no access to hot water for food, laundry, personal hygiene.I have contacted this company multiple times and asked them to simply stop putting that frightening notice on my bills and I have asked them to please reduce the finance charge on my bill (usually about $4-5.00)I simply just want them to UNDERSTAND that I am paying what I can and I eventually catch up.
