    -The business was contacted for an estimate to repair significant holes in the end of our driveway, fill cracks and the top gap between driveway and garage, and seal coat entire driveway. They quoted us $1250. On 8/2/24, the Business completed the service. They asked if we would like to pay then or receive an invoice. We requested an invoice. We were told to stay off the driveway for 24 hours, we stayed off for 48 hours. On 8/3/24, we contacted Kenney K***** to ask why there were large cracks, & crumbling fill at the end of the driveway repair. Photos were sent. Kenney K**** told us this was normal and it was not concerning. On 8/4/24, the crumbling continued to worsen, and the driveway now had tire track/smudges up and down the entire length of the driveway. Kenney K***** came to our residence, and again reassured us that the failing repairs were normal. He offered us a $100 discount. We declined & said we just wanted him to stand by his work. He assured us if it got worse, he would fix it. On 8/5/24 we had major chunks of the fill material pulling up from normal foot and car traffic. We again sent photos. The reply from the business was "I don't know why". We said that the damage and failing repairs were unacceptable. He asked us to pay $800 for materials and "call it even" We refused this offer, and asked him to come repair the work. He then replied "I don't want any hard feelings just forget about it consider it a freebee its not worth it" and "don't even call me again", we said agreed to no payment & notified him that we had contacted another company to evaluate the work and repair the damage. On 8/6/24 we called another paving company. They came that day to access the driveway. They told us it was done incorrectly, gave us a quote, and repaired & resealed the entire driveway on 8/11/24. We had no contact with the business since 8/5/24. Until he messaged us on 9/18/24 to say "I haven't got my $800", when we had agreed no payment would be exchanged.

    Yes I did sealcoat the customers Driveway when I looked at it the first time she asked me about the bottom of the driveway, I told her at the the time to cut 4 ft. of it and repave it, she didn't want to spend the money she wanted the cheap way out. I recommend cold patch and she said ok, she also asked if she could give me a down payment, and I trust people, and said pay me when its done. I should have known because people in ********** warned me she doesn't pay her bills and has done this before, and yes I agreed to 800 not 1250 so I don't know where this came from. I did tell her I'd knock off 100 and she said no I'll pay the 800 my cost of materials and labor so yes I have waited almost a month and no check?? I just want to be paid and, I have not contacted her since 9/18, so so much for the honest business being taken by a ******* customer

    I am rejecting this response because: the response from the company was inaccurate and included several fabricated lines. We were never asked to pay a deposit. Although I requested an invoice at the day of service, we never received an invoice from the company. I have provided copies of all communications from the company which clearly indicate that we did not agree to paying $800 to pay for supplies, as the supplies used were not correct (as identified by another professional company) and less than a day. . When asked to come fix the issue, they refused and stated we didn't have to pay. This is all cooperated in our text exchange provided as evidence. We notified them wed be contacting another company to come fix the damages. Their repairs to the driveway were problematic on day one, and were completely disintegrating by day 3-4. That is unacceptable  

    ********** ****** assessed the damages and said the incorrect product was used. They stated the product was poor quality, should not have been used in the capacity Bill Keyes Paving used it, and should not be used for commercial pavement companies. They provided the service Kenny K***** said he would, by clearing out the faulty cold patch and re-patching the areas with the correct product. We did not have to cut out a section as Kenny K***** is claiming. I've attached a receipt for payment to Grindstone for the same service. We have had no issues with our driveway or the patches as done by *********, further proving we did not take the cheap way out and since it has now been done correctly with the correct products we have had no issues.

    I really don't care what she claims. I have never ever had a customer complain because they did not pay me. Her intention was never to pay me that is fabricated what she said about not the cheap way out, I have proof I am a reputable company, and she has nothing better to do but to come up with excuses not to pay. That's ok, you live and learn, she does not want to pay, she does not pay her bills. I don't have time to go back and forth with this person.

    I am rejecting this response because: I have provided all evidence of my claims including all conversations, photos of the failed repairs, and a paid invoice for the company that fixed the issue  

    The last response from business was filled with verbal abusive. I have been respectful throughout this process.  At this point I would like no further contact from the business. Thank you
