    We have gotten 5 Subarus from this dealership, the last early this year. Until now I would have given a solid 5 stars. But I was recently in an accident witnessed by police as the other drivers fault while driving a loaner. My car is repaired and ready but now they wont let me have it until the company they contract for the loaners gets what they want from the insurance company. They say this may take weeks. I called to speak with the dealership manager, who refused to call me back. Instead he told a flunky that he wouldnt speak to me and the flunky was rude. So I will have no car and will have to rent one. I think its illegal to hold a car that is mine hostage because they cant be bothered to deal with this. ******* BERTERA, you need a better manager.

    Both my son and I had the best car buying experience at Bertera of Subaru. our sales Starlyn Z was great, very relaxed and no high-pressure sales. I really enjoyed working with Starlyn and when I am ready to purchase another Subaru, I will seek Starlyn out. Hilary S the Business Manager was amazing. I would not have been able to buy my car without all of her help. These were used cars my son and I were purchasing and Ron R, the Service Director was wonderful, taking the time to going over each car and what had been done and the condition of each car. I cannot say enough of our experience and will definitely go back to Bertera Subaru!!!! **************

    Stay Away! I brought my 2015 Subaru **************** in for service many times. I have no other Mechanic. Every time I bring in for service, I get my car back worse then what I brought it in for. The same mechanic that keeps working on it doesn't know how how to work on it. New brake pads and rotors on the rear but never adjusted the e-brake so I went back to have adjusted couple days later it sounds like marbles in a can I brought it back all my e brake components were all apart so I had no e-brake and it was messing up the stopping of my car and then they accuse me of having somebody else working on it but I had proof of them working on it so I had to pay for that. Then not too long ago they did something with the brakes in the front which did not go in for that and I got the car back and I could barely break for the front brakes and they charged me $189 for unauthorized work. And I have to get a credit I can't get money back. That the shop manager approached me with an attitude tell you why I'm working with one of the girls which I should be working with another lady because Puerto Rican stick together is what she said to me and I need to go to that person instead of the woman that I was dealing with. I feel singled out and I also feel like my car is being tortured because the guy who's working on it doesn't like homosexuals. I come to that conclusion because apparently according to Bertera Subaru he's the top notch mechanic. If he's top notch then why is he keep failing my car of the work that he's doing to it cuz if it's not happening to anybody else that there's got to be one other reason why my car is coming back worse than what it goes. Yesterday a worker pointed me out to the guy that I made the complaint about and said to him "oh look who's here" pointing at me! Because I made a complete in the complaint went on my side because he was in the wrong and now I'm getting retaliation and hatred in that place

    I took my Subaru outback 08 for service at this dealer hoping they are experts who I can trust and rely on to fix a serious issue my vehicle. I specifically told them that my vehicle was making a tapping/vibrating noise on the highway after about thirty minutes of driving it and that two other shops were not able to accurately diagnose the issue because they refused to take it for a longer than usual road test. However, Subaru accepted and charged me extra to take it for a longer road test to duplicate noise. So far so good. The technician concluded there are multiple red flags with my suspension that needed attention. I was hesitant but decided to trust their judgment. The repair cost me over $3000, and when I got my vehicle back and got on the road the issue I had mentioned to them in the beginning had not not been fixed. They told me to bring it back for another check up, this time saying I needed four new tires!!! Seriously?? I refused and spoke to the service manager. He politely listened to my concern and accepted to take the car for another road test with me. He drove it on the highway for about twenty minutes when we both heard the noise. He said that most probably the transmission or differential is causing this noise or "shutter" as he put it. To make the long story short, I would need to replace the transmission which would cost me close to $4000, and all they did was apologize and suggest I do a transmission flush that would either kill the transmission or maintain it for a while, all at my own risk. I accepted , and was charged $114 for the oil change, but nothing got better and the transmission remains problematic and at risk of failure. In addition , my vehicle was at their shop for almost two weeks altogether, and I got a loaner car for just one day. So there you have it folks. That's my honest story and I'm very disappointed. I would not recommend going there unless you bought a new car from them and just need the regular maintenance services.
