Complaint - Joseph Ricardi Designs ********************************************. I am filing this complaint against Joseph Ricardi Designs because Joseph Ricardi has not completed the work on our three bathroom vanities that was specified in our contract, which was signed more than two years ago, for the total sum of $7,977.00 (Attachment A). I made all the progress payments as soon as he requested them, but now that the final work is to be done, Joe has abandoned this job. I have tried to contact him about finishing this job but he has not responded to my phone calls, emails or texts for the last several months. The sum of the progress payments that I made totaled $6,977.00 leaving a balance of $1,000.00 payable upon completion of the entire job (Attachment A). The progress payments covered all the work he completed on the two double bathroom vanities on the second floor, but also pre-paid $790.00 toward the cost of the job that he has not even started, namely the first floor single bathroom vanity, which is listed at a cost of $1,790.00 (Attachment B). I am seeking reimbursement for this pre-payment amount of $790.00, plus my out-of-pocket cost of $342.61, for the faucet and bathroom accessories, which were purchased for the expected renovated first floor bathroom vanity that cannot be returned, (Attachment C), plus my out-of-pocket cost of $8.56, for a **** Certified Mail return receipt requested mailing to his showroom address (Attachment I), for a total of $1,141.17.Due to space limitations in this section, a more in-depth description of our complaint is provided in "supporting documents" as Attachment 1. Additional supporting documents are listed as Attachments A - L.We suggest that you send this complaint to Joseph Ricardi's home address at *********************************************************** since he does not go to his showroom anymore. Also, we suggest you call his cell phone number of ************ instead of his showroom number for the same reason.

We had a house fire in August of 2022. We hired Joseph Ricardi to design our new kitchen. In October 2022 we gave him a deposit of over 11k and another deposit of 5k when they were delivered to his warehouse. We have been attempting to reach him via phone/text/VM since June. In August, he told us to give him a day and he would probably be able to get cabinets to us next week. He has not responded to us since then.
