Commonwealth of Massachusetts vs Felix Mercedes
On April 1, 2024, Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell announced that Worcester County Superior Court returned indictments against four individuals including the owner of M&F Health Services and Support LLC., Felex Mercedes. Others charged, Elizabeth Betances Rosario, Yaneris Mercedes De Rivera, and Yenifer Barrera, all of Worcester, were indicted on two counts each of Medicaid False Claims The defendants allegedly billed over $500,000 to Mass Health for service that were not provided by personal care attendants, home health aides or Adult Foster Care caretakers.
