I spent 2 hours picking out my favorite wood floors at this store w/ ******* who was very helpful during this time. She even helped steer me away from certain floors which I appreciated. Then, she sent the owner of the store to my house to measure. Everything seemed absolutely fine when ***** measured. We talked, and nothing out of the ordinary transpired. I wasn't bossy. I wasn't rude. I wasn't difficult. Sure, a tiny bit indecisive and asked for people's opinions, but when you're going to spend 80k on a floor, you want to be sure you are picking the right color. Anyway, he left and all seemed fine. Then I didn't hear from him so I emailed to see when I'd have my quote. ******* blew me off and told me ***** had been very busy. I said ok. I then emailed and asked what my square footage was. Immediately she emailed me back saying that ***** does his measures for free and does not give customers their square footage. I was definitely taken back as I have never seen a company do anything like that before, but I said ok. I then told ******* by email that I was okay not knowing the exact square footage, but I could not have them install floors for me without knowing the per square foot price of the actual pre-finished wood floor that I had picked out. She then wrote back telling me that ***** was not going to do my floors. I was literally baffled. I have never in my life had any company deny me service, and at the time I could not for the life of me figure out why he would deny me and my family service. I would admit in a second if I was rude or anything....but I wasn't. Then I remembered something I heard ***** say, but honestly thought nothing of it at the time. This is the most unethical, discriminatory, shady company I have ever come across in my lifetime and I feel compelled to warn people. PLEASE, do not use this company. Call ******* in ****** or **** *********. Both will blow Jason Brown away in customer service AND BETTER PRICING for the same exact thing.

I am sorry that you feel this way in regards to our company. We have never gave you a price for your flooring project and we decided not to quote you on the job as we didn't feel we were the right fit for you. This review is being left after we said we were not going to work up a estimate as we felt we were not the contractor for your particular job. We politely turned your job down and said we were just not the right fit. We hope you find another contractor that will take care of the needs of your job for you. 1 starJason company came out in November 2024 and redid our wood floors. we had water damage. they were great when first done. i even wrote a good review. January 2025, we noticed the wood were cracking and the wood was buckling. My husband called. They said wait until May it see if they would settle back down. We called today May 13,2025, Per call they said it was moisture and nothing they could do. We just wanted it done right. He said call
the Insurance company, paid for it by our check not insurance. We just wanted looked at and the said they were not coming out to check on this work. We trusted this company to keep their word.

Jason Brown Wood Floors refinished our hardwood floors this week. The process was seamless. The workmanship is exceptional. The office staff extremely helpful and provided excellent information. They worked with me to find just the right color and they were meticulous in the installation and with the cleanup as well. 5 starsI would highly recommend Jason Brown Wood Floors. Their office is run very professionally and they communicate well. They replaced my wood porch floors (2 porches) and they are beautiful and always receive many compliments. 5 starsJason Br*** and his team recently did a remarkable job restoring two entire floors of 100-year-old white oak in our whole house remodel in May of this year, 2023. It’s not often a contractor meets my high expectations (let alone exceeds them), but Jason truly went above and beyond to another level. Apparently, this is just the way he approaches all of his work.
This was not just sand and finish. We had reconfigured the floorplan and removed many walls, leaving several areas where new planks had to be knitted among old. I had expected a good but visible repair, but Jason and his team removed several feet of flooring on either side and matched the new wood with old so that the repairs are truly and entirely invisible. When we found old stains from pet urine in the kitchen Jason removed and replaced a HUGE area “to get it right,” not just small patches. Near the end of the job Jason wasn’t satisfied with the condition of the existing old hardwood in the front hallway entrance and great room, so he pulled it ALL up, reinstalled a large area of matching white oak and made it perfect. To top it off, Jason’s crew is polite, hard-working, knowledgeable, and careful. They cleaned up thoroughly every night and explained the plans for the next morning. They worked hard for a long, full day every day to get the job done on time. And Jason shows up on the job nearly every day. This is one rare bird…a contractor that you can hand the keys to, walk away, and leave the job in his hands knowing the result will be better than expected. We could not be more pleased and grateful. Jason Brown Floors refinished my 55 year old oak floors. Thanks 3-man crew arrived on a Monday and completed the job on Friday. The entire job including repairing/replacing steps was perfect. They cleaned up beautifully and my house is like new!Jason Brown Wood Floors
