    Have Marine Nautilus Series Instruments Both have developed a flaw .. both have a "Life Time" Warranty Reached out to the Company multiple times for REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT , only to be dismissed .Service Manager .. submitted excuses ..says Item discontinued (available on-line)Contacted new owner who "acknowledged" the problem and promised to fine a solution !Dealing with this over 2 boating seasons Items were expensive ($700) The Copmany should be able to find a Repair facility for their products ...They assigned a work order #**** Then said cannot do anything

    We are in contact with the customer and working to find an agreeable resolution.We have explained that his instruments have been discontinued and the parts required to repair them are no longer available. We will update you when there is a resolution.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    I have been in contact with a Service *** who is not cooperating.. Item has a Lifetime Warranty ..NOW asking for receipts .. Items were a gift when boat was purchased.

    NO OFFER OF RESULTION HAS BEEN MADE! I 

    I spoke to the owner a year ago ...he said he has the same item and same problem and would try to find a solution .. never hear back.

    As discussed in prior communications with our support personnel, the only solution available is a refund upon return of the instruments. We would sincerely like to repair them for you, however,these instruments have been discontinued for many years and the parts are no longer available. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to find a facility that could remanufacture the instruments or their parts, and without the correct parts for those particular instruments, we cannot complete a satisfactory repair. As per our warranty, one method of remedy is to offer a refund at our discretion. In your opening statement of desired settlement, you stated that a refund was acceptable. We would be happy to provide the refund but to do so, we are requesting a copy of your proof of purchase or registration so we can confirm the price that they were purchased for (these instruments were in production for many years, so naturally the price fluctuated from year to year).

    We take customer concerns very seriously and sincerely apologize for any frustration or inconvenience you have experienced. For over 96 years, we have striven to provide our customers with quality products that allow for safe and enjoyable boating. Our longevity is due to our commitment to our customers. When we cannot meet their expectations, it impacts us greatly because we deeply value the trust and confidence you place in us.     I am rejecting this response because:

    Now the Company is responding with a lengthy story about industry standards 

    now Asking for a receipts from 2007 ...? not many people  save receipts for 17+ years...

    Not looking for Refund at this late date ...BUT ,, a TRUE  attempt to reach out in their Industry counterparts to attempt a "simple" repair.

    The repair would be easy if they found a reliable Instrument repair facility .. 

    Only AFTER they received the notice from you (BBB) dis they respond with a Professional reply...Not a **** dismissal

    Totally dissatisfied with YOUR service... it seems you tend to always side with the Vendor rather then the consumer ...This was a total waste of my time ... You, basically , are another wasted service.
