      We’ve had several good experiences with Len the Plumber. Most recently, **** *. was extremely helpful in identifying what was causing our leak and, even though it turned out to be the roof rather than plumbing, he was able to tell us what exactly we needed to do to fix it. He was on time, thorough, attentive to cleaning up, a true expert, and very kind and helpful.

      $495 to change the AC capacitor. Really? Such a sad world we live in. It was not even an emergency call. And I myself told the technician that it was the capacitor, so there was no "Diagnostics". The technician was here may be 20mins, that's it. No fault of the technician, he was friendly, he did the work right. It's the greedy company that's setting those prices.
      Moral of the story, unless it's an emergency, stay far away from this company that's scamming customers and go with your local provider. I got the same fix done a couple years ago by a local company for $240, should have stuck with them. Oh and I have an appointment coming up to quote a new AC unit installed. If they charge $495 for a capacitor, imagine how high they would price a full AC installation, easily about $3-5k more than other providers. Have to cancel that appointment. Lesson learnt.

      I have been pretty pleased with this company as it is easy to make an online appointment and ***** showed up during the scheduled time frame. The A/C problem was fixed a couple of weeks ago by replacing the contact. Alas, ants have decided to party inside by electrocuting themselves and blew out the contact again. Sigh, ***** replaced it again at a discount. He was very helpful and honest, I would use this company again.

      Our last experience was really bad. i feel like they take advantage of being an emergency service.
      we had a very backed up kitchen sink line from mis-using our garbage disposal. that part was 100% our fault.
      We ended up having to cut out and replace a 12’ section of pipe.
      to do this, they brought out 2 more trucks so there were a total of 3 people. overall time spent was about 1 hr, they made an absolute mess of our house and cared very little about letting water go any and everywhere. my wife was chasing them with towels and buckets.
      at one point one of the techs let the sink run with no s-trap connected and let water fly everywhere onto the kitchen floor.
      final bill was $6000. that was $5000 for labor and 2 extra techs, and then another $1000 because they said the pipe they replaced was “hard to access”.
      the pipe was wide open - not behind a wall in an unfinished section of our basement. we refuted this charge to which they agreed to return $1000 to us in 1 months time.
      3 months and many phone calls later- nothing. you can’t call the service managers directly. they have to call you. and they won’t.
      my advice- unless your house is actively flooding- wait and get some proper estimates. i will not be calling len the plumber again
