Poorly operated. The manager Williams is very unprofessional. The pool and spa water is very green and unsafe to use.Marriott International, Inc.

$120 to park for our family with three cars present. Rude staff that told me “no one in the building would validate” our parking passes. After paid to get out, they let others leave for free without paying. Their management staff said they’d refund one parking pass and never did. Lied. Staff wouldn’t allow my grandson and son-in-law to slide and the whole room with the big slides and merry-go-round was shut down. We paid to experience the whole thing. Marriott has yet to speak with us even though they gave us a time they would. All they care about is getting their hands on your money. We got scammed out of about $200+ by Marriott Inc.Marriott International, Inc.

On 11/13/2024 Springhill Suites - Charleston Riverview discriminated against my daughter and her service dog per the Americans with Disabilities Act ****** A police incident was filed against the hotel and a police officer spoke with the staff at the hotel, confirming their discriminatory actions. On 11/15/2024 filed a formal case with Marriott headquarters. A headquarters representative was supposed to call me within 3 - 5 business days. As of 11/26/2024, I haven't received a call from Marriott headquarters. Marriott has not taken this act of discrimination against a disabled person seriously.Marriott International, Inc.

I checked in to this hotel late October 2024. The stay would have been for 2 to 3 months through the FEMA program. The reservation hotline booked the first month stay for me. Once, I checked in the rate was at $171. The room type was a queen bed with a sofa bed. Throughout my stay I was not able to utilize the pool ir spa due to gree fungus inside the pool and spa. The water inside the pool was greenish. The safety features were not working properly and the pool landscape was over grown. My room #230 had a non-working mini fridge and broken air conditioning system. The system would not turn off. The televisions would always power off and not start up for 30 minutes. Maintenance came once and never fixed the problem or offered me another room. On November 22, 2024, I extended my stay for 60 additional days. The next day a supervisor (female) called me in a rude manner asking me for a credit card to pay a $4000 deposit for the remainder of my FEMA stay. I let her know that FEMA protocol is not to request money from their TSA guest. The supervisor stated that they are not in contract with FEMA anymore and that I needed to leave the hotel in 2 days. I immediately contacted FEMA and was told different. FEMA stated that Fairfield was in network with their TSA program and they would look in to the complaint with the hotel. The hotels supervisor canceled my future reservations and also removed my current reservation from my Marriot account. She also changed my room rate from $171 to $211 per night. This property has abused the FEMA program and also mislead me and my minor child of our 90 day stay. I have also reported this issue to the hotel management. I am now safe at another Marriot property who gladly accepted my FEMA voucher. I am requesting the hotel reimburse me for the relocating and hassle my 7 year old daughter and I had to go through to find another hotel on a cold day. The exibits show the rate hike, the removal of my past stay and canceled reservations.Marriott International, Inc.

******* ************ in ********* ***** charged us $130 + to park refusing to validate our parking and then after we paid in order to get our vehicles out, they allowed other people to park in that same area for free. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, and when we explained how we go jipped out of our money, the management didn't care how we were wronged. We were refused to slide down the ice slide in ICE even though we paid the price, the ****** wheel was shut down and the other slides and everything in the part of the building was shut down. It was a total rip off and made what was supposed to be a great first experience for my grandson a total bust. We were scammed out of over $200 for nothing. Never again. Im posting this all over social media and telling the many people I know all over the area and DFW. ****!Marriott International, Inc.

Hate to give it 1-star but I have to. The staff, location, and dining were excellent. ****** was solid too. But there is an absurd issue w/the hot water that the hotel knows about, and chooses not to address, that makes this a place to avoid. In short, they say that it's the city's fault, but it really doesn't matter who is at fault...at multiple hours during the night, there is no COLD water. Period. Who ever heard of such a thing? On 2 occasions during my 4-night stay, there were prolonged periods during the morning where the cold water just doesn't work at all. I'm not kidding. The only water that comes out of the sink, shower and toilet, is SCALDING hot. It was so hot that I couldn't take a shower or brush my teeth. The front of house staff told me when I complained that they're sorry, but there's an issue w/the city's water system that causes the hotel not to be able to address, and moreover even if they could, they (the hotel) have made a decision not to have engineering staff onsite overnight. This is unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs.Marriott International, Inc.

I am writing to formally launch a discrimination and racist complaint towards your Marriott Property located ************************************************************* ******************************************. I encountered a hostile security and receptionist. I felt the staff discriminated against me due to my sexual orientation as its clear this hotel is not gay friendly. Their attitude and hostile disposition made me feel uncomfortable. When I attempted to make a complaint with the manager, his lack of professionalism was astounding. He defended his staff behavior and was talking over me. I am requested an immediate refund for both rooms which I had booked under my name. I suggest you train your staff in sensitivity training and remove all personnel who doesn't understand the concept of customer service. As a Titanium ********************** Bonvoy member I am beyond disguested and will be cancelling my Marriott Account and going with ******. Again, I expect an immediate refund of all charges on both reservations.Marriott International, Inc.

I called in the make a reservation with the The ************* and suite in ******* BC. The price was $189.00 + tax. They told me as they were processing my CC for over $266.00. I asked why the price was so much more than was agreed to, she said " you know the usual hotel fees". | said "No, and cancel the reservation". "This is not what was agreed to". Before I knew it, she had procced my CC for over $266.00, and then proceeded to charge me $18 to cancel the reservation. This is the most dishonest business practice I have ever dealt with. Shame on them !!!Marriott International, Inc.
