      Truly disappointed with Geico, my renewal is 50% than my existing coverage since they increased their rates in Texas. I have no tickets nor at fault accidents and have been with them for over 5 years during which the increase was acceptable.
      Now it's like they want me to leave.

      I have been with Geico for many years. Come August of 2022, I logged onto the Geico app to realize my insurance premium was going to increase. I literally 6 months ago got a decrease and then they hit me with this. I was never notified about the increase. I only found out because I logged into the app. I reached out to inquire why this was happening and the representative assured me that it was nothing I have done, but advised me that its due to the cost of vehicle repairs and more people on the road in 2022. This is crazy to me as why am I being punished for bad drivers? I located a new company to take my insurance needs to and reached out to Geico once again to assist with cancellation. WORST customer service ever. I waited for 45+ minutes to speak with someone using their chat feature. It stated that a representative finally joined the chat. I waited a good 3-5 minutes thinking maybe they were pulling my account up. After 3-5 minutes I stated I wanted to cancel my policy due to the increase of rates. NO RESPONSE from the representative. I waited an additional 10 minutes and still no response. I finally gave up and will be letting my attorney send a certified letter to them since they will not assist me with canceling my policy.

      In 2019, I paid 100% of the cost out-of-pocket to replace my windshield. Geico decided to report it, and it now shows up on my CLUE report (what every insurance company uses to determine rates, etc. I called Geico, and they told me that they had to report it and they could not remove it. I have been a loyal and faithful customer for over 10 years, and this is how they treat customers. On top of that, without explanation, they raised my premiums $100/month. Mind you, neither my wife nor I have ANY tickets or claims. I called Geico for an explanation, and they told me that the increase was due to "higher prices for car parts." HUH??? I guess that's why I got a quote from Progressive for much better coverage and lower deductibles for $116/month LESS!! STAY AWAY FROM GEICO!!!! The do not reward loyal, law-abiding customers. I switched to Progressive, and will NEVER return to Geico!! If zero stars were possible, I would have submitted that rating instead.

      Received a phone call from geico to assist with a customer for a flat tire geico never paid my company. Gave my company a hard time with getting a Goa when the customer refused service. Dispatcher are very rude and unprofessional

      One of the worst companies for insurance.
      They don’t give a shit about you or understand basic concepts.and fuck you megan supervisor for refusing to investigate my accident.
      This company needs to realize that there needs to be claims adjustor that does investigation.
      Megan doesn’t understand the concept of no other route out of my house.

      GEICO IS A HORRIBLE AUTO INSURANCE, THEY WILL DROP THEIR CUSTOMERS AT THE DROP OF A HAT. My friend Who parked their car on the street near their house, had their car got crashed into twice, and Geico completely dropped them and said they couldn’t ensure them. Even though neither accident was my friends fault and my friend wasn’t even in the car at all at the time. **** YOU GEICO

      I always thought a company Like Geico insurance was fair on rates. Turns out they are gouging and jacking prices way up on existing policies for no reason. in Sept 2021 my Auto policy was $656 for 6 mo then jumped to $777 in March and now they want $920 for 6 mo and there hasn't been any claim or citations. That's a 40% increase in a year. Their reason behind it "Inflation" sorry inflation isn't 40% in this country so it's price gouging. watch you premiums folks....

      I pity anyone whom buys this insurance in the state of California. Be warned. All CALIFORNIANS!!!! THEY ARE A COMPLETE SHAM. A joke to the industry at large. How are they are allowed to operate in this state is a completely criminal? I have lived all my life in this golden state and never would i have thought that an insurance company could be so downright criminal. Beware this is not insurance. Save your money and your car. They cover nothing. Certainly NOT HUMAN LIFE. THEY SHOW LITTLE IF ANY RESPECT FOR THAT AT ALL!!!

      I have been a customer of Geico’s since about 2016. I have NEVER had any trouble with them until now. Fast forward to May of this year, (2022). We had a storm come through that had some pretty bad hail. It hit my car, the roof, the hood, the whole driver’s side of the car. So I file a claim via the mobile app that same day. I make an appointment to take my car to a Honda dealership (my car is a Honda Fit). My daughter and I meet the adjuster there. The adjuster looks at my car and gives me a quote of $1200 (which also includes the $250 deductible I pay out of pocket.) No problem. He tells me it’ll take about a day to fix. Again no problem. I make an appointment with the dealership for July 25th. July 25th gets here and we go pickup the rental car (I pay rental car reimbursement on my policy). We then go drop my car off at the dealership. That same day, the dealership calls me and says the adjuster has to come back out and readjust it because he missed ALOT. The car was dirty, it was my fault I tell them and they said no, we deal with that adjuster ALOT and he knows we have a car wash on the lot to clean the cars so the damage can be seen. We then find out the adjuster went on vacation until August 15. GEICO sends someone new out, now it’s $5800 and another 30 days. Here it is august 29 and GEICO is now not wanting to continue paying for the rental. I am without a car (which I am still making my monthly payments on) through NO fault of my own and GEICO has been giving us nothing but the run around since July 25th. As soon as this business is over with the hail damage, I will be switching to a new car insurance company. I will never recommend them to anyone.
