      Worst auto insurance company! I was a customer for 6 years. I filed a collision claim for the first time earlier this year. The damages amounted to less than $1000. At the 6 month renewal time, my insurance premium increased 30% (approximately $300). Ridiculous since I've been accident-free with the exception of said collision claim filed. Unhappy with the increased rate I was able to find a much cheaper and better policy elsewhere. Unfortunately by the time I called Geico to cancel my policy a week had lapsed. I requested it to be canceled retroactively and the agent initially said it could be done. Then quickly changed her response and said it must be canceled on the renewal date because the policy had already renewed. Every time I questioned why it could not be backdated to the date I requested the agent gave the same response. Since the conversation was going in circles I was frustrated and caved in - I agreed to the cancellation date the agent stated. Unfortunately, I won't be getting a refund for the days I did not need their insurance coverage. Terrible customer service!

      They are terrible people. I was injured by one of their insured in a no fault of mine accident. They fixed the vehicle right off but, it's been almost 3 years and, I'm sti waiting for bills and suffering.
      They are very heartless even in an accident that is 100% fault of their driver.
      I will suffer the rest of my life. I didn't even ask for future damages so, I'm being more than reasonable. My credit has taken a hit over the bills they owe.

      Turned in bike Jun 26,2022 at Harley Davidson the adjuster quoted $3500 but Harley labor rate was 169 and giecos rate was $110 the amount that Harley is $4982.77,called adjuster Mathew Magana twice and left phone# and It’s August 29, 2022.,thanks for listening.

      4 customer service calls to cancel my auto insurance with Geico. The cancellation was finally processed but they charged me for an additional month after the cancellation date and then only refunded 60% of the charge. Claimed North Carolina has a rule that only two states have that let's them do a pro rate refund because of early cancellation (I cancelled early on a six month insurance quote). Makes sense, fair enough, and they sent me the policy terms (buried on page 31 and only one line addressing this in vague terms of agreement language). BUT THEN I ASKED FOR RECEIPT OUTLINING THE DETAILS OF THE MONEY THEY KEPT. "You will not get a receipt, I get this complaint a lot, I'll pass it along, but here are the terms you agreed to from my supervisor." reply... So Geico took my money and simply said have a great day. Am I wrong but isn't simply taking someone's money after they cancelled and willingly not providing a receipt for it also called STEALING? They can have my $36 dollars but it'd be awesome if this comment helped add fodder to a future class-action lawsuit for everyone else they took $36 from and wouldn't provide proper accountability for taking their money.

      Geico what's your money but when you get into an accident thats not your fault, they drag their feet especially if the other person has Geico too. They tell you you can't speak to the other person's adjuster. I had a **** driver passenger open the door in the street, rip my mirror off. It's been over a week and haven't heard nothing about getting my car fixed. Geico use to be the best but not anymore. My sister and son had them but they drooped them. I will be too once the policy is over. I wouldn't expect this from Warren B***** the owner of this company. They are shady. Shop around !!!!

      Atrocious Company! My daughter got into an accident with Geico customer. The kid was on his phone and in a big truck, he did not see my daughter pass in front of him so when he turned onto the street behind her, he rammed into the back of her and drove with her audi in front of his car shoving her into a major road where she would have been t-boned. The kid said he thought it was his transmission.. There was a witness that watched the whole thing. Her audi was taken to a Geico approved repair shop and the owner of the repair shop said Geico is ignoring the fact that her frame on her car is broken and trying to make him fix it regardless. The owner said you need to get your car back to AAA. Geico is trying to trying to cover up a cracked frame and give your car back with 1/4 of another car; used parts from 2 separate cars. The repair shop guy said your car is not going to be the same, seems will not line up; your car will not be the same and the resale will be nothing. Geico is a scumbag insurance provider and the little lizard is really a snake. AAA is taking our car out of Geico's hands and getting it fixed and then billing Geico! Such a trash company and now you know. If you get into an accident with a Geico customer; make sure to call the cops and go through your own insurance.

      Geico is not trustworthy. They will manipulate the system to raise your rates and convey the information to other insurance agencies so that you will end up paying more wherever you go. Please do not use Geico. It will seem cheap at first then they will really make you pay for months and years. It will not matter if you change companies after they are done with your records...

      Terrible. Most likely will not renew with Geico after a 15-20 year run. We were in an accident with another car that was 100% at fault and also represented by Geico. When we contacted the general toll free line after the accident we were directed to the at-fault Geico representative and they did not disclose that till well into the conversation. They reached out to us and did not disclose that they were representing the at-fault party. In fact they tried to convince my wife that we shouldn't have much claim since the at fault driver "said he didn't hit us that hard". So lame. Damage to our car was significant and in the opinion of the repair shop required a collision with considerable force. I've made good will estimates for diminished value (since it's not our fault) and pain and suffering (my wife was diagnosed with a concussion) with no response. In fact, I've left many messages with no response. It's my opinion that they are hoping I either go away or to run out the clock. I had a better experience dealing with an at-fault budget insurance company than dealing with Geico. At least they responded. Given the number of people insured by Geico and how they have treated us, I think after this ordeal that we'll take our chances with a smaller insurance company and maybe pay a little more.
